In the pictures, your using the External Tank from the reDIRECT mod instead of the ORANGES External Tank. The reDIRECT tank isn't supported anymore and has shading issues. Be sure that you have the ORANGES mod installed from GitHub: https://github.com/EStreetRockets/ORANGES (Click: Code -> Download)

I thought that it would be better to make the top 2.5m Di. (For forum folk: Salyut/Mir core size) with a size ~3m SAF fairing, and remake the Block G for 1.5m Di. (BDB Gemini size) or 1.875m (BDB-Titan-II) or just keep the original 2.5m size. Diameters. Diameters. Diameters. This is a mess.

https://imgur.com/a/xfJTU5G @Beale Some time ago I was doing some research for my attempt at a L3M/LKM mod (Project abandoned for now). I came to the conclusion that the N1 would have to be reworked with a smaller diameter and new faring to be proportional. Please keep this in mind for a future N1 remake. Also, great work on the Proton so far! Will there be a 4 engine version as well?

This can happen when you revert the N1 to Hangar. The solution is to just replace the stage with a new one. Btw what DID ever happen to this? @Invaderchaos and @Beale I think with the Soyuz revamp this could fit perfectly.

LOST... Old concepts to project never going off paper
AZZlyTheAZZome replied to a topic in Science & Spaceflight
So some time ago I was browsing on a twitter front-end only to discover this: https://imgur.com/a/lV7jZ4h (Link won't embed idk why) It has the nose of a Space Shuttle and the body of a SSTO. Very Cursed and very Kerbal. Does anyone have more info about this thing? I'm curious to find the document from which it originates. -

So about like 10 minutes ago I fell down a rabbit hole involving NASA artist Pat Rawlings's website. http://www.patrawlings.com/default.cfm The amount of stuff there is amazing! Dual Keel Freedom, Eagle Engineering Lunar Lander and more. Too bad I don't have enough time right now to look at all of this.- 339 replies

The brown one, since apparently the Space Station Freedom ACRV Soyuz, was going to be brown. However, I got this fact from Intercolor, and I don't know how true it is.

[1.12.x][WIP] K-38 Crew Return Vehicle
AZZlyTheAZZome replied to Smallant55's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
@Smallant55You might already have this but I have found this PDF about the CRV: https://www.esa.int/esapub/onstation/os5.pdf -
Could this be possible with the new Shuttle-C update? Also, I have no idea what this model is based on. The only thing I know is that this is from a German book from 1979.

@benjee10Could a version of the Brand Griffin Command/Control Pressure Suit helmet be made for BHKS or is there no time remaining for that? The suit itself was based on modifying the EMU with a "control center" helmet as seen in the picture. Here is a source: https://spacearchitect.org/portfolio-item/command-control-pressure-suit/ Thanks in advance. On second thought this might be way harder to implement than I thought. Im sorry for cluttering the thread. Still gonna leave it for those curios.

[1.4.3 <= KSP <= 1.12.5] KSP Recall - 0.5.0.2- 2024-0521
AZZlyTheAZZome replied to Lisias's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I meant that you are able to install Steam Deck SteamOS on a generic PC or a virtual machine. The OS is not locked to Steam Deck Hardware. Sorry for not clarifying that before. Thank you so much for the support so far! I will try the beta (after backing things up of course).- 633 replies

[1.4.3 <= KSP <= 1.12.5] KSP Recall - 0.5.0.2- 2024-0521
AZZlyTheAZZome replied to Lisias's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
So about the "dislocation problem"... https://imgur.com/a/JzQGLX9 When I merge a craft the joints on the parts of the merged craft are dislocated. (This happened even before tweakscale broke and moved everything to the SD.) The dislocation gets worse the more crafts I merge and persists after a game session. My current solution: Replace the KSP Recall and ModuleManagerWatchdog with a "Fresh install" every time before starting the game. Displaced joints fix themselves after this. This minimizes the problem for a while in a game session. If I don't do this Ritual for a while the parts dislocate themself beyond the VAB's walls. (Old solution was not using merge and replicating on site.) Also, I read the your comment on Github and want to say this: DO NOT USE THAT VERSION OF STEAM OS! Its a older version made for Steam machines made 2014-2017! If you want the Steam Deck SteamOS image, get it here: https://store.steampowered.com/steamos/download/?l=english&ver=steamdeck Alternatively, I know there is a community fork of Steam Deck SteamOS that should have better virtualization support but, I cant find it anymore. I hope this helps a lot! I'm busy with school at the moment so I may not be able to answer quickly.- 633 replies

1. X11 Terminal? Do you mean Konsole? Are there commands to fix this? or is this now irrelevant? 2. The last version of Tweakscale I believe I had was 2.4.6.21 3. KSP.log is only located in the KSP folder. Player.log does not exist according to Kfind. 4. When I ignore the message, Tweakscale is disabled and I can't use it. 5. (NOW FIXED SEE UPDATE-2) 6. Right now I had the idea to move my KSP install to my micro-SD card, ill see what that changes. Thank you very much for the support! I will be following the ticket for future updates. UPDATE: IT WORKS FROM MY SD-CARD! I dont get the error anymore! UPDATE-2: I just updated KSP-Recall separately and I no longer have the issue. The version I had before was 0.3.0.3! I had KSP-AVC and it didn't tell me anything about that. It returned. Post soon.- 633 replies

Hi I'm a Steam Deck user, and I have just installed the newest version of Tweakscale. It didn't do this before but now at startup I'm getting this error: https://imgur.com/N6IOAKO I'm not sure how to handle this, here is my KSP.log: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15bzpUygxetHWjhDzirx1uc-wDh9-zB3H/view?usp=sharing (Also I cant for the life of me figure out where player.log is located on Steam Deck, it may not exist. please let me know if I'm not eligible for support because of that.)
