Bug Status [12/1]
hidearimjosh replied to Intercept Games's topic in KSP2 Suggestions and Development Discussion
yes please! -
Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 Home edition (Build 19045.3324) | CPU: Intel i7-9700 | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti | RAM: 16 GB 2666 Hz To replicate, launch the craft that is built into a rocket, which causes the game to crash, as can be seen in the video. Some standalone saves of the craft were failing to save and then load, so I have submitted it along with a few other crafts as that was the only one where it did not disassemble in the save. Included Attachments: 2023-11-1921-45-54.mp4 sfaadgasdfd.json Space Peacock note: the problematic craft has been affected by the “Dissapearing In Floor” bug, which is likely causing the crash

Reported Version: v0.1.4.1 (latest) | Mods: micro engineer | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 Home edition (Build 19045.3324) | CPU: Intel i7-9700 | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti | RAM: 16 GB 2666 Hz The drag created by airbrakes does not change when deployed or undeployed. This issues causes large sums of drag to be caused by airbrakes while the airbrakes are at any angle other than 0 relative to the oncoming wind regardless of being deployed or not. A workspace file has been included with the 2 planes used for testing. Expected result: Drag created by a surface mounted, undeployed, airbrake should not increase as the craft pitches up as the airbrake is out of the airstream and flat against the body. Current result: The game applies drag to the airbrakes on their AoA alone while disregarding their relative position to the fuselage of the plane Expected result: Left Current result: Right Testing to prove the theory. All testing was done by letting the plane achieve the highest speed it can in any given state, making sure it was stable, and then taking a screenshot. Plane WITHOUT airbrakes (405 m/s) Plane with airbrakes on the side (undeployed (361m/s) and deployed (187m/s)) Plane with airbrakes placed at a 90 degree angle by default (undeployed (188 m/s) and deployed (376 m/s)) Included Attachments: AirbrakeDragBugreport.json

Flight SAS controls still function and adjust flaps without power
hidearimjosh posted a topic in v0.1.4
Reported Version: v0.1.4 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 Home edition (Build 19045.3324) | CPU: Intel i7-9700 | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti | RAM: 16 GB 2666 Hz When a craft runs out of electrical power, SAS can not be turned on or off, however the aerodynamic control surfaces of the craft can still be controlled using the SAS options if SAS was on when power was lost. To replicate: Load Craftinadeadstate.json Change between the direction indicators (Prograde/Retrograde etc) Note control surfaces moving. Video Evidence: 2023-09-0215-46-56.mp4 Save File: Craftinadeadstate.json -
Reported Version: v0.1.4 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 Home edition (Build 19045.3324) | CPU: Intel i7-9700 | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti | RAM: 16 GB 2666 Hz To replicate: Enter the VAB and place down a few parts (any will work). Move the parts using the Move tool (keyboard 2). While still holding move tool, use Ctrl-z to undo the movement. The camera will now move at an increased speed. To stop the bug and revert camera to normal speed, switch back to the place tool (keyboard 1). Included Attachments: 2023-08-3120-30-44.mp4

Let's get this boy to the upvote world record

Description of Bug: While In flight, a craft that I had on a separate launch pad began teleporting and remaining fixed in place relative to Kerbin at least a kilometer or two from me. After getting some distance away it would teleport again to a position in front of me resulting in it appearing to fly backwards relative to me. As I sped up, the time between teleportations decreased. Craft was still an active craft and could be clicked on. Both crafts were completely separate vehicles that were at no point connected or separate from each other. Steps to Replicate: Unknown Fixes / Workarounds: Unknown KSP Version: 0.1.1.0 OS: Windows 10 Home edition CPU: Intel i7-9700 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti RAM: 16 GB Mods: none Images: (Image from active craft of teleporting craft in distance) (Using the arrow keys I flew my camera while the game was paused over to the ship) (Closer photo of craft) (Active craft in background) (Craft still able to be clicked) Log of play session:

Description of Bug: Kerbols flare detaching from Kerbol in tracking station Steps to Replicate: hate to submit a bug without detailed replication steps but all I know is that it occurred while switching focus of planets in the tracking station. Fixes / Workarounds: unknown KSP Version: 0.1.1.0 OS: Windows 10 Home edition CPU: Intel i7-9700 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti RAM: 16 GB Mods: none

Description of Bug: Clicking on the area next to an item after using the stage Delta v pop out in the VAB will result in the staging item disappearing. Steps to Replicate: Click the Delta V pop out While in VAB, then click on either the fuel lines or the empty space. This will cause the stage item image to disappear Fixes / Workarounds: Pull off then reattach the affected part to bring back the image in the staging list. Images: Before/after The mouse is hovering over the decoupler, however since it has been clicked it does not appear in the list. KSP Version: 0.1.1.0 OS: Windows 10 Home edition CPU: Intel i7-9700 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti RAM: 16 GB Mods: none

glad to hear you guys are making progress!

Do the words "Fixed:" mean that you've already solved the problem or that you will be working on them? the wording is a little confusing to me.
-
I believe there's a chance this can be caused from rotating your craft in the VAB. Make sure it stays facing the direction it was placed in when you started and see if that helps at all!
-
When rotating a craft in the VAB, engines and RCS will follow the rotation and keep their actions true to the craft, however SAS will remain facing north. If you rotate your craft by 180 degrees for example, pressing W will cause the RCS and Engine gimbals to try and tilt you forward meanwhile the SAS will oppose it. Here is a video I made demonstrating the bug to hopefully assist my explanation.
