Alright guys, I've been researching for a long time now and I am now an F-14 Tomcat fan. It is simply better than the F/A-18 Super Hornet, and I suppose I have been in denial of that fact for a long time now.

First of all, the Tomcat is fast! Like, that is so important on the battlefield, like... uh... what if you need to outrun an AIM-9X missile that can reach faster than your top speed as soon as it has launched, for the entirety of its flight's duration...?

Second of all, the Tomcat is more... uh... hmm... uh... Top Gun and it's better than the F/A-18 Super Hornet in every way and not just a maintenance-heavy, cumbersome, aircraft with an 8.87/10,000 accidents to flight hours ratio, and even though the F/A-18 Super Hornet is more maneuverable, cheap, versatile, been used by international allies, and it won the COLLIER TROPHY, the highest aerospace award in history, the F-14 is a superior aircraft in every way and I will hear nothing else other than that, because any other claim is wrong.
