[1.12.5] Sterling Systems v0.4.10 [Feb 02, 2025]
ArgentBlue replied to JadeOfMaar's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
A wing root part might be useful as well to help the wing boards work well with the 2.5/3.75/5m diameter tanks. Edit: a wing root would also pair well with a body flap. -

If you don't mind me asking, since you added the massive sun/heatshields, do you have any plans to include an engine that could be integrated into them to make a plug nozzle aerospike heatshield combo, like what ROMBUS or stoke space use? -
[1.12.x] Near Future Technologies (September 6)
ArgentBlue replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Nertea if you don't mind the suggestion, perhaps stoke space's engines might be a good replacement as the first stage plans to use methalox ffsc engines and the option of a combination plug nozzle engine and heat shield would be great for building reusable second stages. -
Not just that, but also having taken a better look at some of the documentation posted here both stages of the ascent vehicle have 4 engines, not just the first stage.

I will have to check when I get home but I think Intercolor covers that now. If you want to test updating your mods you may want to create a copy of your game directory and only update the mods on the copy, that way only the copy will break if you have an issue.

[WIP] G.R.A.P.E.F.R.U.I.T (formerlyTankHabs) [HELP WANTED]
ArgentBlue replied to SqrlGrlDawn's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I think if you swap one of the inner ports to an inflatable airlock it might work since the inflatable airlock can also serve as an extendable clampotron jr. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to test this yet but hopefully it will be the right length. Edit: not sure if the docking node will appear in the editor, so it may require orbital assembly. -
Oh sorry, I just wanted to include the diagram, not ping you. Thanks

With this diagram I have to ask, are there any plans to have the telescoping radiator sections slide over the additional working fluid tanks?

I vaguely recall BDB and I think some of benjee10's mods having done it but I may be mistaken. Perhaps they might know how to do it?
