See, when you make an SSTO, you put a lot of effort into it and when it's done it is very reliable, so why make another? That's my philosophy. I used to make like hundreds but now i have three: Short Range Transport (2 tons) Long range Cruiser (No cargo one man, Ion engines) and all around workhorse (one man room for 10 ton cargo LKo or one ton to Duna Orbit and back) so there really is no need for me to build any new ones...... <drops in two cents>

mmm, well, if they are the same thing as a few Batteries slapped together then i'm fine with it. If they have some kind of cheat (like better power to weight ratio) than no. Basically if they don't make it unfair im okay with it.

So i didn't waste fuel in steering.... and to make burns slower and therefore more accurate.

Closest i've come.... well, 30L of fuel returning from our first Laythe Orbit Mission. that's .8% of the total fuel on the ship, and there was 0% RCs left. It was close.... In fact it got so close I shut off two of the four engines to save fuel....
