    Well, that was a lot of fun. Here comes the story of the most absurd rescue vehicle i have ever built :) Full image album here

    Final score might be about 2490 if all achievements mentioned apply. Not sure about "yo dawg" and "scratched the paint", and i am not sure wether i am eligible for some achievements like "Aircraft Carrier", and some space achievements, since only the probe went up. Anyway, thanks for this great challenge!

    Nice, that's the most creative one I've seen so far. Unfortunately, I can't add it to the leaderboards until you provide the required screenshots. :(

    P.S.: I think the naval speed achievements are way too difficult. The fastest dedicated KSP speedboat known to me reaches about 240m/s, so 500m/s would be an epic improvement on this, and even 100m/s is really hard.

    Good point. I'll get rid of the 500m/s one.

    I had another go as well, the more OP main engine you use the more you can get done it seems :) I found one that beats the 3600isp Sabre that's in first place. I'd planned refuelling and returning the rover to make an hour drive followed by a VTOL landing on the VAB roof but the KAS glitched and my fuel rover warped 5Km and exploded so I got low on fuel, I had a quicksave but it does the same every time I get 200m from it :( You won't believe the landings my space brick survived - ID Strong Struts!

    Nice work, but unfortunately your engines have disqualified you. The rules clearly state that you may not use OP mods, which you have self-admittably done. Using a Sabre would be pushing it, but using warp nacelles just plain unfair to those who have used realistic engines. If you would like, I could add you under honorable mentions. :wink:

    Innsewerants, you mentioned in the blog that your mac tester isn't around? If you need any mac testing done – let me know. I am a proud mac user, love this mod, and the school year is coming to a close, so I've got plenty of motivation and time! :)

    I spent ~40 hours making this for a local History Day competition. I won second place, and everyone I've talked to (including the judges) was stunned by it's awesomeness! :D

    Note: There is a 10 minute time limit. The credits go over this, but that doesn't really matter.

    Oh, and Thrfoot? Your earlier flag has a mispelling. In the pic, it's spelled "Eqploration, not exploration" :P

    Yes, I can read Ancient.

    I believe it says KSP.

    Also thanks for catching that misspelling; I'll go fix it at some point...

    Quick tip while making flags:

    I've found that the Stargate ancient language is strangely fitting...

    You can find font versions of it pretty easy by googling for them. I dunno why, but being able to write anything you want on your flag in an alien language is fun. :P
