  1. I doubt I'm the first person to ask this--but is there any chance we could get the self-destruct module on a longer delay? Or even remotely triggered? I really want it not as a suicide device, but as a way to clear out stage debris. The reentry capsule is perfect as it is though.
  2. Well, that's good to hear then. It's very rare that you get a decent sized rocket that can sit on its own engines.
  3. Very exciting! Definitely like the glow effect. Out of curiosity, is the seating between the engine and the fuel tank above it still kind of "loose"? I notice that seems to be the case for most mod packs (at least, they seem looser than then the default engines).
  4. I do we think we're lacking properly scaled "super high power" rocket engines at it stands (if I'm not misunderstanding the NK-33 anyway), so I would gladly look forward to it. In any case, I eagerly anticipate the Angara pack being brought over to the new sizes (not to mention the KOSMOS lander having IVA somewhere done the road...if you're considering it, given that it's a daunting task).
  5. An elegant solution to something of a problem. I can only imagine that the Kerbals were standing round the design room and one pointed out, "Hey, is there a reason we don't just put the MechJeb computer inside the pod?"
  6. Has anyone made any headway with the no EVA support for the Ceres command module? It seems like a shame to have such an awesome huge module but no EVA support.
  7. Me too...it was hard to tell, but I guess the thrust isn't actually produced, just two of the nozzles keep firing. I'm sure it'll be ironed out eventually.
  8. With the possible exception of the now defunct IFE pack, KOSMOS was definitely my favorite pack purely for travel and exploration--that's before trying anything involving space stations! Given that it is still a three person command module I hope things are scaled up (since we know how big kerbalnauts are), but whatever the case, I'm just happy to see it updated. EDIT: Hurray, resized! I am super excited for Angara engines and nuclear engines, whenever you realse them.
  9. Well, not just scale, but also weight and thrust of engines (making it beyond my capabilities).
  10. Hah, well, I was hoping for a resize (to fit a 3 man module), but you take what you can get, I suppose.
  11. Whoa! I really wasn't expecting this to be updated. A great mod pod WITH EVA support? I loved the Soyuz Rocket before this, now this is brilliant! Deus, you are now one of my favorite people on this forum.
  12. Hurray! Resized Ceres module! Now that is a serious command module. Sometimes, Kerbals want to do better than washing machines and duct tape. Now all we need is EVA...
  13. My first post in this thread: my first (successful) lunar mission, with a 'Tower' lander (not by choice, but hey, it got them there and back.)
  14. That\'s normal for modded command modules since the update. You\'ll have to wait for them to be updated to support that, or they just appear empty,
  15. And we can always use more EVA-capable command pods (especially 1.75m ones!). We\'ll have to be patient in the meantime.
  16. I second this...bigger isn\'t always better, but IFE first attracted me for its monster delivery options. Just make sure to adjust the thrust and fuel capacity accordingly!
  17. I\'m a proponent of larger, heavier, and more powerful parts in general, but I like the Odin\'s aesthetic by itself. Definitely hoping for a resize that could actually fit 3 passengers. I\'m under the impression that the parts NP is based off of are substantially reduced for the sake of KSP--if so, this would be a great chance to turn them around (and just leave the existing 1m parts for those who need them).
  18. It would take more effort, but I wouldn\'t mind seeing the command pod itself resized to 1.75, and the decoupler and tanks scaled appropriately. In fact, I\'d really like it....however, it would make sizing with other parts awkward.
  19. Our first step to a dedicating passenger module for rescue operations. I\'m looking forward to it.
  20. If you feel like it, keep it coming! Updates from the devs naturally take time, and I really love the new 1.75 module and the like (I do appreciate the 1 m module for short missions though), so yours are great to bridge the gap.
  21. Like many people, I\'d be happy for a updated Gemini that can support EVA (since it\'s almost the perfect size, minus some adapter parts!). Gemini\'s so gorgeously detailed anyway, it\'d be perfect. But that\'s just me.
  22. It\'s a hard call to make. Many of your existing parts fit in quite well, on the other hand, I do think you could scale everything up 75% so that the default pod fits with the larger parts and can reasonably hold a three man crew. Of course, that means cutting out 1-meter support, and a LOT of resizing work. Maybe keep smaller, unmodified versions of a few parts (technically, anyone could do that, but it would be nice to name them differently to acknowledge the size difference). That\'s just my take on it. I\'m sure you\'ll figure out what you should do. I have no real idea of the actual part sizes that the NP pack is based on, with the exception of that they\'re probably much smaller than they actually are.
  23. Since Kosmo/Angara is probably my favorite mod pack. I really, really hope Normak considers releasing a new 3-man command module that is scaled to 1.75, along with rescaled Angara tanks/engines etc. It might be a dream, of course, but I can dream. The space station parts, on the other hand, are probably well scaled, though they\'re still cosmetic for the most part (like all SS parts) until IVA mechanics are implemented, I think.
  24. Much appreciated! Until the parts are updated (if they are), this will do. Hopefully you\'ll consider implementing this on other parts, especially structural and command.
