  1. The middle engine should (should) flameout first, giving you adequate warning of low air. I also have action groups established to shut down groups of the engines. It also has sepatrons mounted on the front landing gear leg to give you that nose kick in the air you need to get off the ground. Sorry for not explaining this, it was a quick reupload after the forum crash.
  2. I have established a very large space station in Dunan orbit, and rescued a Kerbal I had stranded there. This is the guy who was rescued: http://imgur.com/a/tfmz8#0
  3. With the recent forum reboot the Stock Repository was damaged along with the rest of the forums, and not much can be done to repair it. So I ask you to please help in the reconstruction efforts. Please add any and all stock designs here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/21975-The-New-Stock-Repository-Version-0-19 Thank you very much!
  4. Sending a rover to Duna has never been easier! Full album: http://imgur.com/a/E4cSO#0 Download: http://www./?29v90y52ei095fi Please post all stock designs to the Stock Repository thread! Thank You!
  5. Have you ever wanted to take an orange fuel tank to orbit, but you didn't want to waste a perfectly good rocket? The answer is here! The new SPO-48 spaceplane is just what you need: Full album: http://imgur.com/a/GKhcw#0 Download: http://www./?vy8vpuwakff0jrb Please post all up to date designs to the Stock Repository! Thank you!
  6. Now that we have lost some ground here are all of my entries for the current version: SPO-18A Probe to orbit, 3 Kerbals, docked with space station and landed at runway. http://imgur.com/a/D4Pmy#0 SPO-28 Medium lift design with three kerbals, should be capable of taking a 32 tank to orbit. Easy to fly. http://imgur.com/a/ld6dT#0 SPO-48 Heavy lift design capable of taking an orange tank to orbit and landing. http://imgur.com/a/GKhcw#0 Please post your designs to the Stock Repository! Thank you!
  7. Oh god, my beautiful thread... Please add as many new designs as possible! Thank you.
  8. No, it is always better to go for a 90 degree orbit, you lose about 340m/s of DV because you have to overcome and make up for the rotation of the planet. It goes like this.
  9. I like mugs: http://imgur.com/a/zMPgJ#0
  10. Whatever he meant I think this can get there: http://imgur.com/a/8s5le#0 Adding a little bit of fuel I got to Laythe with 100l of fuel in the nuke engines.
  11. Do you mean mean 410 billion meters? 410 million is really low, and Neptune is really high.
  12. Did you put that resource thing in the resource file? That seems to be the cause of most problems I have seen. kreuzeng.something
  13. Yeah, that seems to be what works for me as well. Not too bad for some things, but on others it can be killer. My space stations grappling arm for docking is nearly inoperable at this point. I hope it gets fixed soon, but this seems unlikely.
  14. Basically this. If you can get to the Mun and know how to change your inclination you can get to Minmus. Wait until it comes over the horizon and burn until your apoapsis is in line with its orbit. About halfway there change your inclination until you get an SOI intercept. RCS is never mandatory. I only use it when I am actually physically docking, for just a normal rendezvous I am fine without it.
  15. That looks awesome! A quick question, you seem to use the damned robotics mod here, but ever since 0.17 I have had troubles with DR. Whenever I time warp or go to the space center and back the pieces attached to joints and moving parts get all out of alignment. Is there something I'm missing? I have the latest mumech.lib. Thanks. Also fellow Wisconsinite! Go pack go!
  16. http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/23956-The-Soyutz-a-Russian-inspired-safe%2A-and-reliable-Munar-lander-and-launch-vehicle I would like to personally thank you for making something based on real life and not following the "add K" method of naming things.
  17. Very nice! I have never built ships before, these look unique and awesome!
  18. I have made two successful takeoffs out of 25 attempts, making this one of the safest rockets ever tested.
  19. If you press F1 it takes screenshots, could help a bit. Nice designs, can't wait to see more!
  20. ...You don't have enough struts. OR ...Your computer crashes.
  21. Well, I think that nhnifrog still has a couple hours left, then it goes Werhner>Exovian>You (The Destroyer)>Me (Maxed-Rockets.) Or at least that's what I gather.
  22. It was Jeb, I had to save him...
  23. Made from scratch on the potters wheel! Thanks for the comments guys!
  24. I actually survived that by using my ship ejection system, which had a backup chute. Luckily for the pilot I had just started a new save and was on a safety kick.
