  1. I really like these but I think out of all of them, my favourite is the one below agent kirrim. Not exactly sure why but I think it's because it looks so real but so Kerbal too.

  4. I like the design. Could the landing gear be moved to the next section up? Really like the escape pod system? is the top pod left on its own after the pods detach or are there other structures?
  5. I was thinking the same thing. Loved that craft. Really like the tightly packed design of this craft. Looking forward to getting a shot of it when finished. What's been the worst annoyance in the design process so far?
  6. That's a nice munbus. How stable is it landing on Mun?
  7. I never maxed it out before I wiped the game. I will find out this weekend on the current version though. Cargo wise it was a cluster on the opposite end from the drive section. The idea was I could swap out the tail/boom section and attach a train of fuel tanks or parts of a station if needed.
  8. That was one of two variants. The boom tail on this one had a bunch of solar panels as it had a payload of 8 small satellites and 4 small landers. Wanted to make sure nothing ran out of power. Another had a tail that had bunch of docking ports along it that I used for Larger Satellites and then put 3 large landers on the end. I made a variant of the ship with half the engines and only 2 sponsons, and no docking ports on the front, that I used to haul stuff to Mun/Munimus including a tug that I used to assemble a small base. It also carried a Munnar Surface to Orbit craft.
  9. I am at my second try at a round trip cargo ship. V1.x was lost when I swapped to steam. Decided to start fresh. Will see if I can find a picture but basically 8 nuclear engines in two's held on pontoons made from the smaller but longer fuels tanks that are attached to an orange tank with a connector or the rear. I am using the puller method. With luck this link should like to my gdrive where there's a picture.   10. I take it that the lander would use parachutes to land and then power to return to orbit ? What height was the mothership orbiting at?
  11. AFAIK ORDA isn't being developed anymore. Has someone else picked up the project?
  12. What would be the best compromise in height for a Mun fuel/crew station? I want to put a fuel station in orbit that can also have crew stationed so that I can build a lander and return vehicle for trips down to and back from the mun whilst also being able to replace and swap crew or stock up crew and head to Minimus etc. I have tried from 10km up to 150km. Some are easier than others, some have a nightmare for rendezvous and some burns a load of fuel to get to.
  13. I find it quite handy. You can just remove the payload and save it as a subassembly or remove it and save it as a normal craft file. Then go and remove the original from the craft file if you are easily confused.
  14. You need to throttle up and engage mechjebs ascent autopilot then you need to ignite them. After that it should stage properly.
  15. Neither. Mechjeb flies mine to and from fine.
  16. Any tips on flinging a ship up to that speed? the only time I have done anything like this was in my early KSP days and it was all by accident.
  17. Anyone put a multi kerbinaught base at the arches? I am trying like mad to put 3 crewtanks connected together radially at one of them but just cant!
  18. Could be kinda cool depending on how you do it. I presume it will be an srb on a decoupler with both set to activate at the same time?
  19. You're not kidding. It definitely has the power but I just can't get it to fly without it either cartwheeling or having it accordion itself into a flat pack version of itself.
