  1. I recommend several things: 1. Part limit is too high. 5 modules, and the station will contain 500 parts. This will bring many computers to their knees. A maximum of 50 is more considerate of everyone, and WELL within reasonable design parameters, especially with mods. 2. I have been waiting on a collaborative effort that uses mods! I think that the mods list should be agreed upon BEFORE construction of the first module. This will ensure compatibility. 3. Will this be a fileshare effor that includes something like dropbox?
  2. Both of my shuttles use Pwings for their main wings, and they ARE compatible (officially, I am pretty sure).
  3. So, you are new here I am guessing? People HATE mechjeb. Mentioning it will most likely derail the thread. Like right now. Although i recommend watching what it does so that one could copy it to get the gist of it.
  4. I tried once. Then I realized it was a lot of work and 112% pointless. Working on an orbital shipyard though.
  5. You are correct. In fact, thrust-balancing addons have a habit of being updated once or twice, and never being touched again. I am glad to see that there are new people willing to take the problem on
  6. Well you joined the forums a maximum of 20 days ago and you joined the game in 0.22 at the earliest..Harvester's idea of career mode is working as intended
  7. The generally agreed-upon rule for real rockets in KSP is that all statistics be reduced to 64% of real life. JSYK
  8. Haha, they aren't two different kind of parts. The SOFT part count refers a target part count for the module in question. It helps to keep anything that you build under this part count. The HARD part count refers to a part count that you cannot exceed, lest you risk rejection of your contribution.
  9. Awesome! Are you aware of the buoyancy/CoD/CoM tendencies of the Dragon though? It likes to tip over during reentry (exposing the top of the pod instead of the heat shield) and when it lands in water, it comes to rest about a meter below the surface. Also, if you point the dragon down in the water, it will sink. I have FAR btw.
  10. The only two ways I can think of to do this are: 1. Change your launch position to 0.25 the distance around kerbin at the equator away from KSC. 2. Launch normally into a very high orbit and plane change at your highest point above the poles.
  11. I play with Hardmode mods so there's all of those restrictions plus: 1. All payloads must fit within a payload/cargo bay. 2. Craft design must fit within reasonable expectations of physics and aerodynamics. 3. No taxation without representation. Aint nobody got no time for that. 4. Keep all kerbals alive! These make for a challenging and rewarding play experience that stays fresh!
  12. This is completely off topic, but EL papa is The Pope. LA papa is a potato
  13. I will never use parts that are intended for small probes. I would use infernal robotics for things like space station construction, and as such I would only need one or two sizes. Excellent textures btw.
  14. Excellent shuttle. I really like the functionality of the craft! Keep launching my friend.
  15. Looks amazing. Do you use FAR at all? Also, Payload? Delta-V at launch? Empty Weight? Weight of full stack?
  16. What if...I stopped KSP the day that happened?
  17. Same here. Partless and this would be perfect. Excellent job, in any case!
  18. Great idea, REALLY obnoxious name. Seriously consider changing this.
