  1. Very interesting stuff mate thanks, I'd never imagine it worked like that in real life... it would be great to have some dev enlighten how it works in KSP though just to see if this really matters... anyway thanks for the comment and those facts
  2. Yeah, exactly what I meant the point is, that we should have more air intake if we went against the rotation of the planet/atmosphere, so that's why I'm asking dunno if the game counts with that, but it should give you some more intake, thus making you able to go higher... at least in my opinion...
  3. Hello fellow space program CEOs I've been just wondering (and this has been bugging me quite a long time) if it's more effecient (faster) to go around Kerbin with a plane going in the direction of Kerbin's rotation, against that direction or if it doesn't matter... I know that it might me a dumb question, but I'm really unsure how the atmosphere reacts to the planets rotation... So what do you guys think? I'm looking forward to see your ideas...
  4. Vall for sure because of it's "moody" surface which is absolutely charming for me... (+ the view is just awesome)

    Hello

Hello... hope you'll enjoy your stay with our great community... And of course many (un)successfull missions (in brackets 'cause every mission is success in a way... either it succeeds to entertain you with exploooooosions or you achieve your goal )
  6. Whoa easy there guys... I didn't say that EVERYONE would be happy about that and I doubt he would ever remove an option to do this without EVA... I just wanted to have an OPTION to do this via EVA... so chill out... I think it would be nice to have an option to do this by EVA for real than to have to pretend anything...
  7. Oh yeeeeah... pleeeease JDP, do this for us... I'm sure you'd earn much credit for that among the KSP community... although you already did with this awesome mod thanks
  8. Hmmm nice to know it's already been settled... thanks for the tip... Oh and it's almost a year old topic, huh? I have to be reeeeally bad at searching on the forum for specific topics
  9. Looking pretty well so far just a bit more people and we can arrange ourselves some TeamSpeak room to talk in... the first "KSP guild" ever!!!
  10. Thanks, I know that mod, but there are several facts why I'm not using it... it drops performance quite significantly (some lag spikes depending on the number of connected players)
  11. Not exactly what I'm looking for, sorry
  12. I guess they should have 13 PM now... that wouldn't mind that much however, should anyone want to talk a bit, my skype is fyzzicek
  13. Depends... what time is it at your location now?
  14. Jo jo, Universe Replacer je super, jen žere nepřiměřeně moc paměti :-/
  15. Exactly as thereaverofdarkness said... it's not altitude that makes you orbit the body... it's actually speed (velocity) with which you counter gravity of that body... so by going fast enough, the body's gravity is not strong enough to pull you to the ground... just not to let you fly away... when you go too slow, the gravity is gonna pull you back to the ground and if you go too fast, you will eventually fly away from that body... It's absolutely not about the altitude... for example, you could achieve Münar orbit (if you wouldn't crash to any mountain) at 10 m altitude... you'd just have to travel fast enough (500-600 m/s I guess)... watch some youtube tutorials they'll help you a lot... you obviously need to learn some orbital mechanics...
  16. Jees... I've been using the previous version until now, but as far as I can see, I can only say WOW to your work... really simple but AMAZING mod... exactly what we needed to have... and now with this prograde vector and linear positioning cross, it's gonna be simply a needed feature...
  17. Hello there and welcome to our community Good luck to your Kerbals, stranded or not they're gonna have fun anyways...
  18. Actually I personally think, that 0.21 minimum specs compared to 0.18 (demo) are even lower, so it should run even smoother than the demo
  19. Man... that is worth a warm welcome to our community... I really enjoyed your story... reminds me of my own faults... though it's even more "sighworthy" when you realize the fault in an orbit of Laythe or another planet far away in the Kerbol system... ) However, I wish you the best of luck in your space program and wish your Kerbals good luck on their journeys And of course, welcome to our community and hope you'll enjoy your stay with us, the addicted ones
  20. Oh.. I didn't read the message until now... sorry for that and thanks very much mate :) Google translator worked amazingly well indeed :D

    Where are you from? :)

  21. Hello there... This community is great, but you don't usually really have anyone in your neighborhood to talk about KSP with... So... Is there anyone, who'd also like to talk on skype/Teamspeak while playing KSP or just talk to some other guy who plays this game as well? Anyone is welcome... and just to introduce myself a little bit... I'm 22 years old, I play KSP since 0.15 (=> for a year and something) and live in Czech Republic The only requirement is that you should just be able to speak English Looking forward to hear from someone (you can send a private message, should you prefer that)
  22. I go mostly for 90 km at launch and my station is parked at 100 km altitude... but I guess that even 100 km altitude is more than enough for a station. Real world ISS is orbiting at 420 km whereas the Earth's got just 10 times bigger equatorial radius... that would mean that you'd be in a same position above Kerbin when orbiting at 42 km altitude... so 100 km altitude is just enough for me
  23. I'd also like to participate in this "thanksgiving" So, thanks all of you guys from SQUAD as you've really made me get into the most amazing things that modern science and physics have to offer as I started to get the know how because of KSP... nowadays, I just can't stop watching videos, reading articles and getting whatever knowledge about astonomy and astrophysics that I can... Also thanks for more than a year of me having fun with your amazing game... you've really changed my life... thanks a lot guys... Best regards and wishes of the best luck with further development...
  24. Ello dere mon... Hope you're gonna like our community and wish your Kerbals good luck
  25. Hey there nice to have one more addicted to our community Hope you're gonna like it here and wish your Kerbals good luck )
