  1. Put a probe out in a high orbit. I've got one at 83 million or so, right at the edge of Kerbin's SOI. Put yourself in whatever parking orbit you want, switch to the probe, and timewarp all you want.
  2. Nothing in Houston? I figured they'd have something.
  3. Han didn't confuse units. He did it to see if the rubes that were hiring him knew anything. If they catch on and call him on his BS, the price goes down. If they don't catch it, he knows he can charge them more.
  4. I thought the two had some problems (the kOS terminal not catching space or backspace keypresses, for example), but I was able to use them together without noticing any problem the other day.
  5. So, we're supposed to be treated as equals by a company, but the moderators on the forum are just faceless drones? I am truly amused.
  6. Honestly, how many companies do y'all interact with on any given day? Do you expect each and every one of those companies to inform you about changes in their employees?
  7. Or you could randomly run across it at the store. I've got the entire series on DVD on my shelf, and I intend to actually watch all of it sometime.
  8. Sticky note, you say? Oh. Well, it'll probably come off if I scrub hard enough.
  9. "I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this afternoon is out, of landing a Kerbal on the mun and returning him safely to Kerbin." --President John F. Kernedy
  10. A. What do you want to do? B. What have you tried? C. What happened? D. What didn't happen that should have happened? E. We don't read minds. F. "There was an error." is a useless bug report.
  11. I highly doubt the launch/mission crew and the sales department share much in the way of staff.
  12. Sounds like they have a method that works for them. Chances are that they won't bother with the house. Try this stuff against an attacker armed with a gun? You'll get shot.
  13. Throw it on the ground, stomp on it, and then set it on fire? That covers most of my creations, anyway.
  14. "edit <filename>." When you finish, you can save it (F5, I think). To keep it beyond the current flight, use "copy <filename> to Archive." In later flights, you can "copy <filename> from Archive. run <filename>."
  15. Did you really just say that the only difference between the Wright Flyer and an X-15 is that the X-15 is more expensive?
  16. I completely understand and agree with y'all. I was just curious as to the status and wondering if I had missed something that had been posted on some other channel that explained the silence.
  17. I haven't been following in extreme detail, but I haven't seen a new release or any update from the author in a while. Does anyone know if kOS is still being actively worked on?
  18. I'd love to see a huge dry lakebed area with multiple runways marked out, like Edwards AFB.
  19. Do my kids count? They pretty much sit there and do nothing. That counts as "inanimate", right? I wouldn't say that's a "sentimental attachment". I've got attachments to objects that I don't see on a regular basis. And y'all don't be worried about stuffed animals. I'm damn near 40, and I've got a couple around here.
  20. I'd suggest checking the release thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/56399-0-22-Remote-Tech-2-v1-1-0-November-7-Build-those-satellite-networks!
  21. It really makes sense to me that building a rocket should take time, especially in career mode. It's kind of off-putting to notice that on Day 1, 00:00:00, Kerbkind discovered rocketry, and by Day 3, they're landing on the Mun and Minmus, have a space station built up from 10 separately launched modules, and are starting to construct their first Duna craft.
