When I build a new rocket, I alway launch during the day: I want to see what will fail(because I know something will fail).

Just started...
goldenpeach replied to bartekkru99's topic in KSP1 Modelling and Texturing Discussion
I moved this to the Modelling and Texturing Discussion, as this isn't really a plugin -
I don't care about the trash I leave, I just make sure it's not on an critical orbit(like the orbit of my possible space station), otherwise it stay where it is. If I used the rocket to put a probe in orbit, I use the engine of the last stage(the one that that finalized the orbit) to change it's orbit a little, just to be sure(but the stage doesn't fall back to kerbin).

Lost all my programs on my calculator, how can I recover them?
goldenpeach replied to goldenpeach's topic in The Lounge
thank you the answer, I guess I will have to redo them. On the bright side, I taped the codes on my computer, two years ago, so some of them aren't exactly lost(but I still have to rewrite them). Also, I didn't forget how I did the programs so, even if I will have to think a little, redoing them won't be the most difficult task. Finally, it will give me an opportunity to optimise the codes: seriously, some of them were a complete mess(sometime, I added a big feature after the code was done, and the original code wasn't meant to support the new feature). -
Hi! I made a simple script in my tI84 plus calculator. That program, was just choosing a random number; your goal was to find that number, at eachh attempts you were told if you number was too high or too low. Jot long ago, I tried to put a imaginary number instead of a real one. Then, I was told that the RAM was cleared and I lost all my scripts ;_; Is there any way to recover my other scripts? Even if I can recover ALL if them, can I recover a few of them, or even just the majority of the code??? Thank you in advance!

Why is This "Rocket" Stable, and Why did I Build It?!
goldenpeach replied to BagelRabbit's topic in Science & Spaceflight
why did you build it? -because KSP can give some really bad idea. -
thank you! I will give it a try after my current mission, hoping that 3 chutes won't rip it off!
-
Is there already a mod for that? I searched a little but didn't found anything. It would be useful for my laythe lander: I want to use chutes to avoid wasting too much fuel for the landing, but if I use the stock radial chutes, it just rip apart the lander; causing the kerbal to fall helpless toward their certain death
-
Heavily depend of the mission. I usually go for a 100km orbit, but I have to make a 75k orbit for some other missions because I can't add enough fuel to go higher.

At that point, I don't call that modifications, he basically remove everything Also: it's a great book. When I started reading it, I got hooked in the first two pages. PS: Am I the only one to think that the first line wasn't expected?
-
I was alive and old enough to understand what happened But I didn't. Or maybe I just forgot that, which is strange since I guess I was already interested in rockets at that time. Anyway, tomorrow, I will plant a flag to commemorate this tragedy.

How to double post when making a release thread?
goldenpeach replied to Yemo's topic in Kerbal Network
that's against the rule, you know? -

For anyone, even if they won't fully understand all the physics behind rocketry, they can also have fun by trial and error: ut some fuel tank and engine together and try until it work. After all, is it really dramatic if the player can't go on the mun? Even if he can't go in orbit, the important point of a game is to have fun.

Do you feel KSP is ready for 1.0?
goldenpeach replied to hoojiwana's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
The main reason I chose no is because we had only one update in beta. There is a lot of things that need to be done before we could say that the game is complete: one of the most notable one is the lack of "objective" in career mode: a long-term objective which, when complete, would trigger something special would be cool(basically a "congratulation! you finished this career, now continue to run your glorious program!" PS:hurray for the new size 7! -
What happens if all internet goes down?
goldenpeach replied to Aghanim's topic in Science & Spaceflight
you will be forced to send your mailing adress to Squad if you want to receive the next updates(or you could also walk to their HQ in Mexico. I'm not an expert in transportation, but I think it will be easier to give the adress.) -
Who else loves seeing the little "Notifications" tab lit up?
goldenpeach replied to Starwhip's topic in Kerbal Network
I love it too, it alway bring a little surprise which is pretty cool -
MUOS III Launch Tonight at 1943 EST
goldenpeach replied to B787_300's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I have to admit something... I was watching this with my family, and I swear that a few time in the stream I've being tempted to press "esc" to explain a few thing. Then I remembered I wasn't playing KSP and that the stream wouldn't continue to the point I press "esc". I play waaay too much KSP -
MUOS III Launch Tonight at 1943 EST
goldenpeach replied to B787_300's topic in Science & Spaceflight
As good as any launch Nothing unsuspected happened(apart those who delayed the launch), but they cut the stream before the circularization burn, because of the long coast time(more than two hours). -
