Hi! With the new sciences parts you have the choice to either send the result by antenna or keep it and recover it on Kerbin. I think it would be cool to be able to transfer the result to another science part: in example, let's say you used a thermometer on the mun,you then send the lander into orbit and dock with the CSM. If you have a thermometer on the CSM,you should be able to transfer the result from the lander's thermometer to the CSM thermometer's. Even if you off-set the CoM by modding, I'm not sure if you could skip. It would be easier to off-set the CoM and adding lift capacity of the module by modding.
