  1. I've once seen a guy saying, that resources should be in paid dlc because that would give Squad more $$$ which is a good thing. I almost died. Oh wait, that was on the forums.
  2. I use both FAR and MJ 2.1.1 - FAR support seems to be broken, MJ controls are useless (but I have also updated FAR recently).
  3. I use both optional modules with KSP 0.23 and I have encountered some problems: Toolbar Support - main MJ button works fine but I have no Toolbar config window. E: oh, didn't notice the T. FAR Support - using time warp causes KSP to lag a lot. As soon as I turn off time warp everything works fine (I'm not talking about physical warp). Oh, and everything is fine if a vessel has no MechJeb attached.
  4. I think rapiers are great, I choose them over jets + rockets design.
  5. I think Lab should be much heavier than it is now, 5 to 6 tons would be cool imo.

  7. I do not spam intakes, here are my limits (per engine): 2 ram/circular intakes (I usually use 1) 1 engine nacelle 4 radial intakes I don't use everything at once ofc.

  9. Resources. MP doesn't bring any new content to KSP.
  10. Spaceplane has less engines so it's less complicated. That pretty much doesn't change anything, but simple is better than complicated, right? It will be probably lighter than 2 engines while providing (hopefully) same thrust. That means more dV and better payload capability for small not huge spaceplanes. I think specific impulse will be set at 360s while in vacuum, that's not really that different to 370s provided by LV-T45 (T30 and Aerospike 'cannot gimbal'). Rapier engines will not incrase range of long range SSTOs because they are not supposed to.
  11. If you like throwing your cash away - good luck, have fun. But don't say that it is a good idea. I don't worry about Squad making money. Why? Because if the game is good enough people will buy it. DLC is just sucking money from players. KSP costs now 27 euros I think. That's not cheap for a game, that after 3 years of development is still in "alpha stage" (probably the only reason KSP is considered to be alpha is that new content is still being added btw). About the time you have spent playing KSP - good for you, you liked the game very much. But not everyone will like it enought to hit 300 h. Plus you cannot rate a game simply by the amount of time you spent playing one. It's also how much you enjoyed playing. And not everyone is a huge fan of space exploration.
  12. Building Laythe SSTO is easy enough right now, only ~3 km/s of dV is needed to reach orbit over Laythe I think.
  13. Engines will work same as now, the point is you will be able to configure some things in VAB before launching. And what rapier has to do with tweakables?
  14. No advantage at all, we should be happy that we will not get unwated "feature".
  15. I am really disappointed. I hope Squad will fix that before 0.24, I don't want to wait for months for such thing.
