um3kCorp Multifunction Utility Panels v1.1 - New image gallery!
um3k replied to um3k's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'll set my engineers to the task of developing transparent [probably not painted cardboard] for windows while I'm at it. R&D might take a little while. -

Spherical is a little less conceivable (can't have concave collision meshes), but I could do an assortment of polygons. Geodesic domes, anyone? -

Not quite sure what you mean by other shapes. Triangular panels? Hexagonal? That's conceivable. I'll look into it in the near future. -
Kerbalnet [updated 13/9]: A mod site for KSP (www.kerbal.net)
um3k replied to wizard`'s topic in KSP1 Discussion
I'm a bit puzzled, I uploaded a couple of mods, but I can't figure out how to edit the required mods, recommended mods, or mod categories. I see the submit buttons, and there is a black box below it, but I can't find any way to interact with it. Edit: And now it's working. Not sure if it had something to do with this post, or if it was a coincidence. Either way, thanks! -
I'd definitely buy a Three Kerbal Mun t-shirt. In fact, I fruitlessly Googled for one the other day...

I'm rather proud of my multi-rover delivery system (as well as my rovers!): Four rovers (Venturer 2) on the way to Joolâ€â€due to poor planning, I haven't managed to land any on the moons. However, it's a great shot of the spacecraft. Rover, safely landed on Duna. I've gotten pretty good at landing these things. Driving along...IN SPACE! Crosseyed 3D: Ad-hoc mission objective 1 completed: Duna has rocks! I have a funny feeling about this valley... Partial panorama of landing siteâ€â€Photoshop had a little trouble with the lack of detail. Full album on Imgur

[0.19] Multiversal Mechatronics - Fixed Camera - 1.3
um3k replied to r4m0n's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Would it be possible to make a camera that saves pictures to disk upon keystroke or at set times/repeating intervals? Edit: Even better if it could black out the screen in non-map mode, but that could be a different plugin just as well. Oh my... I think I may have an unmanned spaceflight fetish. Edit again: If you don't want to make this, just (honestly) telling me that it is possible might be enough to push me to try making it myself... -
Protractor - Rendezvous Plugin - Under New Management!
um3k replied to mrenigma03's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
The nice thing about Duna is that it requires relatively little delta-V to reach, so trial-and-error is affordable. -
Protractor - Rendezvous Plugin - Under New Management!

Ok, I'm a bit puzzled. When the Ren angle is negative, at which point is the current angle considered matching? Absolute value? Ren angle + 360? -
My sensors have indicated a sudden spike in sarcasm level in this thread. Not sure if false positive...
-
Hooked up my N64 controller the other day via an adapter. Only working joystick I own. :/
-
I'm 22, have never drank alcohol, no desire to start.
-
Will the crewtank be gaining IVA functionality?
-
The three dots could represent the three inner planets.

I'm sure this is blasphemy, but I'll give the same advice I've given before in the Minecraft forum: if you're bored with a game, don't desperately try to make it fun again. Try another game, perhaps; or go outside and take a walk, write a novel, whatever. Kerbal inspiration will return with time, no need to force it. A game shouldn't be a commitment.
-
I'm gonna try a Eve-Kerbin-Kerbin-Jool gravity assist trajectory (or something similar), Galileo-style.
-
I dunno, the fiery deaths may be a bit unpleasant in sensovision. But, hey, impetus for better safety, I suppose.

ANY mod is permitted, even custom ones. Just list them, link them, and if they aren't already online, upload them.
-
Lookin' good, nhnifong! Here's a download for those panels, they're a custom mod I made:
-
I don't expect Squad to maintain and update it forever, but I do hope they have the foresight to open source it when they're finished with it (after a grace period, of course).
-
Here's a little something I put together yesterday. And here's a video of it in action: There is only one slight change in the uploaded craft from the video, I removed a redundant stack decoupler.
-
I mainly mean the big ol' linear cracks in the ground, but I suppose craters would be acceptable. Honestly, any sort of bridge over anything on the Mun would be a great start.
-
Uploaded a video of my early attempts at a deployable bridge: Haven't tested it on the Mun, yet. For some reason I feel like it's not yet worth trying to get it there...
-
Nothing extraordinary, just a Kerbal pleased with his successful mission.
