Awesome! I realy think TAC needs some new models, and this look verry neat. Specialy the radial components look great! Only i noticed the flamable sign on the oxigen tank, shouldnt that be an oxidant sign?

yup CS is an awesome amateur organization! even though they are "amateur"the keep deliver provisional looking products. and i hope that they do it again in today's test!

you are right, as is the rest. this capsule looks dangerous and without doing any math or test you can probably conclude that this isn't the best idea. but if you start looking a little bit closer you see that it's not only about getting someone into space with this, but learn from why not to. by actualy making and testing something radical you know why it doesn't work and how to make something that is worth trying next time. I think by doing what they are doing and how they are doing it, copenhagen suborbitals deserve respect, and definitely our support -

v1.1 update out now! added heat 1X hybrid rocked booster, and a decoupler that fits nicly -

Sorry for the late reply, the storm that was raging europe has riped out my internet conection :l I dint make any progress with the plugin, bet as soon as i get my internet back, il be able to release the heat 1x -

hello, I'f got no direct anser to your first question, but i suggest for general tutorials for blender and unity you can look on youtube. but for modding ksp and the way you use unity for it there are litle video's abaut it. for that you could look for forum treads. In order to use the animations that sqad mae you would need to extrackt them from the .MU files, wich is not verry effecient. here's a good tutorial for making emissif engines. for you last question it depends on how sufisticated your animation is. if you're just using solid seprate parts(like a hach) you could easely use unity. the only thing were i find unity akward to use is when animatng with bone's I think in general you could use blender beeter for that. to get animations into ksp, you can almost always use the CFG file. the only case that i can rhink of is when you want your animation to play at a certain event(eg if your part gets near the sun you want its color to chance). and last but not least, here is an list of usefull ksp modding tutorials, if you havent seen it jet. -

I did.t test that directly, but whis i replaced 'kspPosition' with part.transform.position' the IVA did show up like in the origonal, but again in the wrong place -

I runnign into the same problems as you, either the IVA works as espacted and the kerbal is not isible from the outside OR you can sea him but the IVA gets displaced. also i don't think the plugin spawns a kerbal, i suspec that it somehow makes it visible to the main camera's(wich are two, one for close range and one for far away) -

I updated the file, the .zip file size is now 1.3MB. it takes 13 MB on diskspace. aso the capsule is now orientated corectly. -

I think i found the demon: if (sfrUtility.FindCamera("InternalCamera")) { if (part.vessel.isActiveVessel) { part.internalModel.transform.position = kspPosition; // this is a vector3 with the valus (18.3f, -6.9f, 0) part.internalModel.transform.parent = kspParent; part.internalModel.transform.localRotation = new Quaternion(0, 0.7f, -0.7f, 0); } } so basicly it checs if there's an internalcamera. this is posibly only the case if you are in IVA. and ifso it chances the internalmodel position to kspPosition. -

I'm looking into that, but I'm running into some problems, please check my development tread. I know, I know! I'f done my research, actualy thair current project is tycho deepspace II, wich is more mercury bassed. -

i took a quiq look at the code, and saw alot of 'part.CreateInternalModel() ' could it be that the unity layers get screwed up here? I'm not a coder but I used to try it -

I got the sfrs plugin to wurk! kindof... you can see the kerbal from the outside now, but the IVA view is dislokated by a few meters :l this is only the case if the IVa view is activated. It's as if the layer warent correct, but they are. can anyone explain the plugin in more detail? Thanks!! -

acktuali, the rocked used in the tycho brahe was a hybrit rocked, this is a rocked that uses a oxidiser and a solid feul. the oxidiser can be oxigen or or nitroperoxide if im not mistaking. the solidfeul can be anything with a lot of energie, use peanutbutter if you like. if you would dump the dumpable feul, wich is the oxidiser nothing would explode or burn becouse the oxidiser isnt flameble(there's even 21% of it in the atmosphere, get it?) and then the peanutbutter woulnt have enoug oxigen to burn. then again, this is for almost any rocktet. and most of them use normal liquid fuel engines. with liquid feul. so if you were la president at the time, there would be no mercutie rocket, no atlas rocket and there would probably no human made **** on the moon. rockets are dangereus and you need to get used to living with it. -

If this thinf scares you off, you might reconsidder going into rockets at all. In a normal capsule you can move no more than in this one and the ticho brahe gives you an acselent view:) -
tycho Brahe This is the Tycho Brahe, it's a sub orbital space capsule made by Copenhagen suborbitals in Denmark. its a 3 meter long, 0,625 diameter cylinder in witch, in this case, the kerman stand straight up in. it contains SAS,some power and a parachute. the real capsule was constructed in the period between 2008 and 2010.It was successfully launched in 2011 on top of a heat-1X hybrid rocket with a 70kg dummy inside unfortunately the capsule was damaged on splashdown due to parachute failure. spaceport download special thanks goes to Copenhagen_Suborbitals as he/she/they helped me find information for this addon Todo: -fix bugs -implement sfr's plugin (-reduce file size) planed features: -Tycho Deepspace I & II version history: v1.1 -added Heat 1x hybrid booster -added decoupler -minor tweaks v1.0B -reduced file size -re-orientated capsule v1.0 -initial release licensed under
