  1. I think I would tolerate mixing of mods with my pack if there were a balancing standard. I kinda developed one for myself, but it would be silly to assume people would just rebalance everything to match it. Also, 0.8 will have the tank\'s dry mass added to its full mass. I might up engine power a little, it\'s kinda getting more difficult than I would like.
  2. Protip: It\'s called Kerbin, not Kearth. Saying Kearth will usually result in backlash from me :u
  3. Well, SpaceX is a good example of why he\'s being proved right =p
  4. That\'s the absolute number one thing I hate about vanilla parts. They DISCOURAGE staging. Engines and decouplers are apparently made of lead...
  5. The little struts along the solar panels should have their height variance reduced a lot. Make them similar to the height variance of the panels themselves.
  6. Are you going to make things like the Apollo telescope mount? Also, will it have a second lateral solar panel like skylab was intended (only one could be deployed properly)
  7. But but but but, inconsistent with the rest of the game!
  8. Well, at first it did. Now it\'s starting to look like skylab! The cylindrical part is kinda low poly though. The standard in KSP is 24 sides.
  9. It looks like a lasagna noodle.
  10. Good point. Honestly, I\'m fine with it in sandbox mode, but it shouldn\'t be much of a problem when we have money to worry about.
  11. Nnngh. I don\'t want this to be possible...
  12. Absurd amounts and ease should not go together :C
  13. Try changing the model of the flares to a fuel tank or something. If a part\'s origin touches the ground it will instantly detonate.
  14. When I released the Probodobodyne pack... I didn\'t expect this.
  15. All right. I just think the RocktCo original parts clash a lot with the base game, but that\'s just me... The soyuz should be great!
  16. Try (in all seriousness) 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999
  17. I believe this was using the old assumption that the mun would have the same ratio as earth\'s moon to earth.
  18. Orbiter is cool and all but that\'s fucking insulting.
  19. No. I probably would pay money not to go to it.
  20. It seems like a situation similar to that in Stephen Baxter\'s 'Voyage': the solar system is explored by people, but we don\'t know much about it because funding for viking, voyager, pioneer was diverted into a manned landing on mars. I don\'t know if a modern version of that would be good or bad. I think putting people in space is a much bigger PR opportunity for NASA than robotic probes, but all the science that would be lost...
  21. The gravity assist would only work if you go the same direction kerbin is orbiting. If you go the opposite direction then you\'ll cancel out its orbital velocity and you\'ll fall toward the sun.
