Started with 0.8.5, July 2011.

I have to get through my current projects which could take months, what with the holidays interfering. We shall see. I'm a freelance artist, so my side-art time is limited.

Yeah. It needs a bit of work on the RCS ports and thermal tiles, but she's almost ready. Hoping to have it up well before Christmas. SRBs and the external tank will go up soon after. Then lunar lander, ISS modules, HTV, ATV, etc.

Oh, and this arrived a bit ago.

Learning different styles, fonts, and colors used in comics. Here are a few examples I came up with. Played a little with the sound-effects. Found it amusing to steer away from the usual VROOOOM, KRAAAKKKK, and SKRBAAAASSSHH and just say what the effect was. Hmmm. The Launch one is backwards. It should start out with large letters and get smaller as the ship flies into the distance. I'll switch that around later.

I should have some effects tests to post this week. Maybe a few other things. I've already sketched out the scenes for Kerboom's origin story; a very Kerbal chain of events. Thought of just finishing that one first, that way I don't have to interrupt the Kraken story with flashbacks. Not sure.

Thanks! Unfortunately, 3D-printed mugs are not safe to drink from more than once, because of all the creases and gaps for bacteria to nest in. At best they can be used as pencil-holders, prototype examples for manufacturing, or used to make ceramic moulds (something a friend and I are working on). I have done 3D modeling for work before but haven't had to use it for a few years. I do have Blender, 3ds Max, and 123D, so now that my printer has arrived I will be exploring my options with those.

Especially when Egon, the brilliant scientist, flips on Ray's proton pack and then tries to back away. Gets me every time. LOL. "Ray, if someone asks if you're a god - You. Say. YES!"

Thinking of that scene, plus the "Let's split up." "Yeah, we can do more damage that way" scene always cracks me up.

lol. Everything in that movie cracks me up. Thanks! I'll probably do more but I jump around so who knows when I'll be back. I'm still working on comic designs. These one-offs are what I do to keep sane.
