  1. KSP started out in 2D, and it was pretty good back then I hear.
  2. Oh man. That\'s awesome. Thanks for the link, dude.
  3. XNA is not an engine, it is a graphics API. You can get free XNA-based engines though... Try checking those out.
  4. Go for it, bro. I\'ll be interested to see what you come up with.
  5. Sarcasm? Sorry, can\'t tell... 'Cooking with gas' is an expression in the UK meaning 'in business', 'ready to go' etc.
  6. You want to change the Motherboard, dude. Core i7 will not fit in an LGA775 socket, what you\'re looking for is an LGA1366. Also, that motherboard does not support DDR3. You might also want to get an ATX motherboard, since you have an ATX case. Gives you more flexibility for upgrades. Get a Dual Socket Intel motherboard, two ten core Xeons, and a whole shitload of DDR3 RAM. Then you will be cooking with gas, my friend.
  7. Interesting that you suggest this now, just as I start work with another gaming community on a project of our own. Whatever you do... Make sure you don\'t do another Zybourne Clock.
  8. Brucie was the best. 'BE GENETICALLY DIFFERENT, BABY!'
  9. Though not necessary, your apologies are accepted.
  10. Why should they want to destroy us? I like to think that as intelligence and curiosity increases, generally the desire to kill and destroy diminishes (and I should hope quickly reaches 0)... so any Alien civilization with incredible intelligence and understanding will have enough understanding to know that it is better for them to learn from us than destroy us. Just because they are more advanced/intelligent than us does not mean they cannot learn from us and work with us. To project these (very human) vicious and destructive tendencies onto that which we imagine aliens to be like is somewhat depressing... That we cannot imagine an extra-terrestrial race with an insatiable curiosity for the sake of curiosity, much the same as our own... rather we must imagine aliens conducting some sinister research on Earth\'s inhabitants, or just destroying everything. That these are the realities of how aliens are seen in popular culture, I think is an insult to life itself.
  11. They should all do it. Wikipedia, Facebook, Google, Youtube... Although, then the US Government might try to call their bluff... and things could get nasty.
  12. The UK government (along with many others) is considering similar legislation if SOPA passes and is 'successful', since the US will then have set a precedent which will be expected to be met.
  13. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the image is broken.
  14. Nice. That just an LED array shield? Where did you get that? I was thinking about building one myself, but if I could just get a shield that\'d be easier. How do you drive it? Charlieplexed? Is there a driver chip? Can you get it in RGB? Sorry to bombard you with questions...
  15. Oh, I love these! Melodysheep is a genius. Bought the album... can\'t stop listening. So glad there\'s a new one. Thanks.
  16. Of course I want a new one. I just don\'t have the money for a new one.
  17. I built that one, thank you very much. And who said I wanted a new rig?
  18. How do you have 0 posts? Also: Gigabyte G33M-DS2R Motherboard Core2 Q6600 @ 2.4GHz 4GB 667MHz Corsair DDR2 Stock Radeon 4850 (yes the hot - and very loud in the case of KSP - one) 650W Corsair PSU 1.25TB HDD (1TB + 250GB) LG Blu-Ray + HDDVD Drive Antec NSK2400 Case
  19. Close to the bottom of page 5.
  20. You look a lot like Hugh Laurie.
  21. Given that even current computing technologies rely heavily on quantum theory for their operation, and that 'quantum computing' is even more deeply entrenched in quantum theory than these, I would be prepared to deem this bolded statement completely inaccurate. As for whether the use of the word teleportation is correct. That just depends upon your definition of the word teleportation. I would say that it is correct. Just because it is not the same sort of teleportation that we are familiar with seeing in Sci-Fi, does not mean it is still not teleportation.
