  1. One of your many procrastinauts here . I remember the shout-out you gave me in August for Cyclone Aerospace. Thanks again! Anyways, I believe The Grand Tour- Voyage To The Planets, an AAR by czokletmuss, should get a shout-out. He inspired many including me to start our own stories based off of missions we have done in KSP.
  2. Can't wait on the .20 update. I'm sure Squad is taking their much needed time to make this update the best it can be. Thanks to all on the team.
  3. I think I'm the only one who didn't forget about the cool new set of rover wheels we are getting that look modern. I wish we still had the picture of them. I think they are gone because of the forum collapse. ANYWAYS, I'm going to use those and a chair to make an ATV!
  4. I've never done anything relatively big to have to bring over my saves. That'll change soon..
  5. Here is mine for Aurora Space Association.
  6. I love this I also have a Kurt Kerman. He was used in my AAR series.... He murdered two men and tried to do so again, but he was soon put into custody for life.
  7. Why do I love this thing so much. If anyone wants the craft file, feel free to drop me a PM.
  8. Other than stockpiling mods for an interplanetary cruiser, I'm going to build a kerbal car with the new seats.
  9. I'm surprised. I used to check the forums while on my phone when out of town on weekends. I've done that twice to find an update had been released. I suppose I just didn't check during the week.
  10. With .20 coming very soon, possibly the upcoming week, it comes to our attention on what we will be doing first after updating the game. What will you be doing after the update process? I'll be starting on my interplanetary cruiser that will head to Dres. Two designated kerbals will get into the ships lander and touch surface on uncharted territory. I'll be writing an AAR to go along with it.
  11. The Civil War was fought in 1776 during the great depression, with The Black Plague being a major problem at the time. The Japanese and The 6th Doctor battle for 3 months. The Berlin Wall was toppled one day after the Japanese surrender.
  12. In two days it will be a month since I jumped at the chance to get this thread started after the forum collapsed.
  13. The location has been picked for the next AAR, the largest yet. I won't be releasing the location publicly, but if you do wish to know, just PM me
  14. Thanks! I won't be expecting anything horrid to happen in the next AAR. Actually, the next one won't be mining. It will just be an interplanetary voyage to land on another planet... I think. Though the mission won't end in disaster, everything won't be all sunshines and rainbows.
  15. This ship would explode when I changed between objects in space. My kerbal's jetpacks were bugging out, spinning him around wildly.
  16. With Kurt in jail and all that, there will be no more mention of "The Lunar Incident". I won't start the new one until I have everything planned and working. For some reason KSP wants to start bugging out in the middle of my AARs.
  17. I hope you all thought it was good. Sorry for another abrupt ending... I had to tie up loose ends with The Lunar Incident. And the only way to tie up an abrupt ending was to have another abrupt ending. Ugh.. Anyways, I'd like to take this time to thank the FASA fairings for letting my kerbal walk right through them ("Drill through") and get to the lander to break them off. You fairings rock.
  18. Epilogue Kurt was soon arrested for many charges. If his plan worked the second time, the gas would have filled the capsule and killed both of the men after brief insanity. Years ago, the substance was placed by Kurt into Bobbald's breakfast before his and Sidrod's launch, resulting in their deaths. Burtley was given the program's medal of honor publicly and was chosen to command a mining expedition in the near future. Hint, hint. This phase of the story is finished, but this is just the start.
  19. Chapter 4 2 days later at the Aurora Space Association offices Harvin and Burtley enter Director Halsey's office. -Why isn't it the two men who escaped death! -Thankfully. -Harvin, can you leave for a moment? I must speak with Burtley in private. -Oh, okay. I'll be outside. Harvin leaves the room. -Burtley, I must award you with this.. Director Halsey hands him a medal of honor. -..For your quick thinking in one of the program's darkest moments. Burtley smiles. -It means very much to me.. Thank you sir. I hate to start something, but I found this computer chip and bottle of some gas in the ships generator. We think someone attempted to kill us. -Hmm.. -Director Halsey, who was the last person to enter the ship during construction? -Well, Kurt, of course. Wait a second... now that I think about it, I've seen him with a container of material like that before.. We should go question him. Kurt enters the door. -Ah, Kurt. We needed to talk to you. -There won't be much questioning.. Kurt pulls a pistol from his lab coat, aiming it at both Halsey and Burtley. A worker sees the gun pulled and yells for the guards. -Ah, we can question you in jail. -I'm going to kill you first, Burtley.. Like you were supposed to. You're going down the same road Bobbald and Sidrod went. Kurt cocks his pistol. Two guards come behind him with guns loaded. -Freeze, dirtbag! Kurt puts his hands up. He puts his gun down slowly. The guards handcuff Kurt. -Have fun in jail, Kurt.
  20. Chapter 3 Minmus' SOI -Frak.. Give me the toolbox. I'm looking at the generator. Can you go on EVA while I do this? You should have enough oxygen to last you quite a while. They both put on their helmets while Harvin exits the pod. After the oxygen fills up the ship, Burtley gets to work on the generator. -This is Harv, tuning in. -I hear you loud and clear. I see no visual problems with the generator. Let me look under these gears. Burtley disassembles the generator. He finds a strange computer chip along with a little capsule of gas. -Harv, I think somebody is... out to kill us. -What are you talking about? Burtley slips his helmet on. -Just come see this thing.. Harvin enters the pod. They both look at the contents. -Burtley, we have to get home. -I know. All we have is the side generator for life support, which only has enough power for the littlest of things. -Can it deploy parachutes? -Well... yes, but we don't have a way to get back. -Hmm... can you give me that drill? -What are you going to do? -Just put your helmet on and trust me, Harv. -If you say so. I just want to get back where we have gravity. -I'm sure the guys on the Odysseus are saying that over by Jool.. Burtley exits the pod and goes over to the payload fairings. He positions the drill where the tiny explosives, that jetison the fairings, are and start drilling. Once he gets a fair way into it, he leaves it running and jetpacks away. The fairing is bursted off. -Holy hell, what did you do? -Just saved us. Before Harvin could reply, Burtley is piggy-backing the ship with the lander. -Burtley, you're a genius! -How do you think I got this job? -We're going home! Hours later -Entering the atmosphere... -It's pretty dark out. -Oh, you're about to see a light show, alright. Just................about.................. -Cheater.. -Now! Flames engulf the pod and soon are gone. -We can deploy the chutes now.. Moment of truth? -Moment of truth, Burtley. The parachuted deploy. -Woohoo! The two make it to land, by the coast. -We must be the first astronauts to have to land on... land. -I'm not sure. -Well... now what? -We play the waiting game.... I'm sure somebody had to see us. -Hmm.
  21. Update coming very soon. This one is kind of short.... I just needed somthing to do. The next one is going to be large... A mining expedition somewhere in the system.
