  1. Not necessarily, there could be naturally occurring distortions. All that it would prove is that such distortions are possible, which would still be a pretty big find.
  2. Ooh, shiny. So it basically has the same end result as the Bergenholm but without the niggling little details like: how do chemical reactions happen with no inertia, or where does the excess energy go?
  3. So, what is the difference between the Alcubierre drive and the Bergenholm from the Lensmen series? They seem to have basically the same effect on velocity; particularly in that they both return your velocity to it's original state when you shut the drive off.
  4. What? That is what one is generally seeking when one looks for realism. Perhaps you're thinking of verisimilitude?
  5. You could throw the source folder away if you wanted to. It's just the source code for the plugin, in case you wanted to change some things and recompile the DLL. Also, try using 7-Zip. It's free and it works better.
  6. Ooh, yes, those would be lovely for putting my LEM into.
  7. My ship: My Launch: My Grav Turn: My Unrecoverable Nosedive: Here is the ship, and some more screen shots. Doh, the staging is wrong. It didn't fire the main engine. Let me see if that helps... Nope, firing the LV-T45 just meant that I could do the whole process quicker.
  8. If I post my craft file would someone please tell me why my rocket can't gravity turn below~25k without starting a slow, but unstoppable, pitch down towards Kerbin?
  9. That stores data for the Mac desktop. It shouldn't be there at all, but it's a bit difficult sometimes to keep them out of archives.
  10. Ooh, I love the new lander legs.
  11. That was awesome. The heat on the underside of my capsule got well into the thousands, my radially mounted FASA ASAS exploded, but my capsule was fine throughout and I landed safely.
  12. Doh! I kept reading its tooltip as saying it splits the rocket in half lengthwise. No wonder I could never get it to work. Why doesn't it just say bi-directional in the description?
  13. Adding scale = 1.0 fixed that problem for the external parts for me. The .zip I uploaded earlier seems to be a perfect 0.20 port except for the fact that the internal space of the Gemini capsule is messed up.
  14. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/30591-20-Compatible-and-Incompatible-incomplete-mods-list-fixes-%285-27-2013%29?highlight=unofficial+patch There seems to be two of them listed there.
  15. OMG! You are now in charge of Deadly Reentry? Do you know what this means? Proper FAR integration!
  16. Officially anyway, I updated my copy to 0.20, but the license says I can't distribute modified copies. You can use the unofficial patch and place it in the legacy parts folder and it should work fine though. KW has the best fairings. Also, I can confirm that the GUI clicks through, at least for the button.
  17. The inside view looks like Marathon. I love it. I totally need to hollow Ike out, fill it with MMM corridors and colonists, strap some engines on, and send it to Tau Ceti.
  18. But if you made a part that only has the values that you changed in it, such as, "MyMod/Parts/ModifiedStockPart/part.cfg" could you use the ModuleManager to set the rest of the values to be the same as the original part? If you could then that would probably solve his problem.
  19. I'll try that... No, that didn't work. It seems like 0.20 just doesn't like the interior of the Gemini capsule. Does anyone know why?
  20. Which is amusing, since all of Picard's ships had the new style nacelles. Nice, and if he did that modular version then I could flip the nozzle the right way up.
  21. Okay, I'm looking into it now. I have no idea how to fix that.
  22. You mean it fixed itself without you downloading the new one?
