  1. Possibly, I'll look more carefully into that when I finish everything else. I've got all the fairings working now and they all align nicely. I've also added in the RCS systems. This is all good except for the part where I've run into some difficulties. 1: I cannot get the emissive and the animation to work together, I'm not sure if this is fixable. 2: Where should the hatch go? If anyone has any ideas I'd gladly accept them.
  2. I recently learned how to do Emissives for engines and I've successfully got it working in-game. I also recently learned how to get proper animations into the game. The only problem is that these two seem to conflict when they're in the same part. I have an emmisive set up based on the throttle, and that part is part of an animation that moves. If I toggle the animation in-game it just snaps into the last/first frame of the animation. Is there any way around this, or will I just have to sacrifice?
  3. I think I've mostly finished the textures, and I'm glad to say I made them from scratch. no photos used in the process either. They'll look much better in-game and this opengl render doesn't really do it justice.
  4. Good to see you're starting something, I hope this one goes smoothly, now that Crasher925 has at some experience in unity. I look forward to progress.
  5. It will probably stay the same colour but the detail will definitely increase. I'll ad darker areas around the edges and flesh out some of the engine and the interior of the main hull. I don't have anything to do tonight so I should get a large portion of the textures done. I'll probably post some time later tonight regarding them.

  7. I'll fix that the next time I release an update for it, Thanks! Onto progress...... There is none. I waited in line at Futureshop for almost 6 hours to get Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts free, but it was worth it. I'm about to start texturing the outside, and then if I have time I'll try and work on the fairings.
  8. Don't worry. it's coming. I'm going to completely re-do it. Although Redocking may be a problem, as it can attach at any angle.
  9. Glad to know it's good! Although somehow I already expected that. I put together a short-ish video on the current progress. I've got the newest model, much better than the old one, into the game and I've dealt with all the little issues that appeared. I just need to texture it, and add an internal. It's processing right now so it may be low quality.
  10. The TARDIS has been updated with the recompiled Firespitter plugin and therefore has sound effects!
  11. Now for something completely different! The TARDIS now has sounds and you can get it on SpacePort! I also put together a small video of the more recent mods. If I could only find an actually good video editor these videos could be so much better. I could also crop out the Bandicam logo, or I guess I could just buy it.
  12. I'm confused, whats bad about these models? They look very pretty right now, especially the radiators.
  13. A good motive for learning to model. Thanks, and you definitely cleared up the dilemma. I'll look into that, It may provide more "Realism" to the ship. I'm going to try and get the newer model into KSP and sort out the textures. About the launch vehicle, I'll probably ask for permission to use the existing Titan.
  14. Not quite as awesome as Rareden's picture. It has balancing issues so I had to put some winglets at the front concealed in the cockpit for it to take off.
  15. More Progress! I've fixed several things with the model (mostly the windows and the hull), and I've also rendered the animation. My first "Render" with my first animation:
  16. Not quite I felt like more people wanted the phoenix than the Enterprise D bridge so I've started on that. Also whenever I looked at the Enterprise model it just made me want to change so many things, so that will have to wait. I've split the ship into 6 parts: Nosecone (Parachute) Cockpit Decoupler Warp Drive+Nacelles Fuel Tank Engine Getting the animations set up was a bit frustrating as I've never done anything like them before, but I still managed to prevail. Here's a short album of the ship in it's current state. I still have to add RCS, model the internal, add the airlock+ladder, and texture everything, which includes learning how to do an emissive for the engine and possibly the nacelles.
  17. About the Turning speed, it is a 300m long ship. It's not supposed to be able to turn fast. And on the topic of impulse and RCS, I could see that happening. I'll add it in next time it's updated. Hold It! I'm going to finally finish the overdue Enterprise D IVA first, and touch up the model a bit. I'll do an NX-01 after I watch/start the show, so not really soon. I hope to make one eventually though. I used Universe Replacer. It should be within the first few pages of the Release section. Progress I should have the Tardis updated soon with it's signature sound.
  18. Release I've been stripped of my free time the past couple days so I never got to release the mod, even though it was finished. But anyways, It's released now. New stuff: -IVA (courtesy of Boogaman) -Sound (courtesy of the Firespitter plugin) -Tech Tree integration (In the experimental rocketry node) -Science! (complete experiments with full descriptions) I'll try and get a video up sometime soon showcasing the features.
  19. Assuming you've maxed out the rocketry section of the tech tree, and have 1000 science to spare. Of course you could always edit the save file, which I did to test it.

  21. I'll definetly consider it...... after I start the show. I've been meaning to watch it at some point, but I've been fairly busy lately. I just have too many shows and things I'm already doing to start another one. Maybe someday.
  22. \ First of all, I don't think lights can be imported. Second, are you importing through Unity? And last if all, is your part.cfg file pointing to the right model/texture? You need to provide a bit more information, otherwise no one can help you. From the picture I can only assume you are importing as a .dae and using an outdated tutorial?
