I still like my eagle, although this one looks bad ass. You must enjoy some points, my good skilled sir. Actually, I already gave points too recently. Well, I will when the opportunity presents itself soon.

Exterminatus! Burn the xeno scum!

That is the ohka. I made a replica back in 0.16.

Finals and AP week. Time to get my mocha pack.

What about the X-37 ominously hanging over our heads in space? The USAF only made minimal course redirects since it was launched over a year ago, and it is hypothesized to be a precursor to a weapons capable platform. http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/1...doing-up-there Did you really think the DOD would care about some treaty? Even JSOC? Since I already have a reliable Atlas V design in KSP... hehe. My space program will embark on a national security mission... yeah. Here's a quote from a comment. Hopefully it is not growing biological weapons in zero g. That is always possible though. I read where Salmonella is something like 7 times more lethal when it grows in zero g. They could be testing hundreds of different viruses and bacteria. Just leaving them up there and letting them grow in various different conditions to see what happens over a prolonged period. The whole thing could be a flying death ship. Of course they could be doing something else with it, and hopefully are. Looks like the science capsules will be useful after all. Those rebels on Duna might want to stack up on body bags.

X-33 SSTO: Could It be Feasible With Modern Technology?

A reusable weapons delivery platform. Just imagine multiple scramjet missile armed x-37 space planes orbiting earth with the excuse of scientific research. No more escaping terrorist, and no more Edward Snowden. I also think ULA should be forced into innovation again. The ULA becoming a niche research group will benefit us all in the long run. http://www.policymic.com/articles/22214/x-37b-and-the-5-scariest-super-weapons-the-military-is-developing-in-2013 -

You all know that I just love low part counts. Right?

X-33 SSTO: Could It be Feasible With Modern Technology?

It would help us gain more technology in the form of r&d programs. Who wants to pass up a chance to fund NASA? It could even be an excuse to pour military r&d into space travel. Imagine how much money the pentagon would throw at a ssto combat vehicle, but is it moral? I don't really care. Space travel should be funded more. -
If it is feasible, do you think NASA should make it? Or do you think Lockheed Martin, a member of ULA (Not pals with SpaceX), Would be willing to license the honeycomb and composite fuel tank technology to spaceX? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_Martin_X-33 A lighter fuel tank could increase payload fractions for the new re-usable falcons and enable spaceX to build a ssto. Not to mention the other engine advancements in the x-33 development phase. Heck, the rs-68 is more efficient than the rd-180 in the atlas v. And only 19% less powerful, albeit much more complex (I think). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RS-68 Imagine a spaceX ssto with rocket engines derived from the rs-68 and technology from the SABER engine from the REL Skylon. It would be awesome. Why not even a future ssto with a hybrid fusion engine. The UK already has one of the records for fusion energy. http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/181298-the-uk-will-be-the-first-to-break-even-with-fusion-power-leading-us-towards-a-future-of-clean-infinite-energy I can already see either the UNSC in the future... Or a dystopian PMC run humanity... At least not by the ULA... http://arstechnica.com/science/2014/05/spacex-says-rocket-purchases-violate-russian-sanctions-gets-injunction/

It is a fun game. Not too much cinema and not too much action. I have a ps3 that I don't have time to use. I can't even boot it because I salvaged the hard drive but it has been cfw fwd one time.

Make sure to say hi to Ellie for me. Just avoid David when you meet him.

ENERGY SHIELDS ARE NOW POSSIBLE! THIS IS A BOON TO MILITARY SPENDING IN SPACE! http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/181773-physics-students-figure-out-how-to-make-star-wars-deflector-shields-in-real-life Maybe not completely flawless. I just hope we can make engines that can fire through plasma. Subspace thrusters could work. If they could even exist.

Haha. The consciousness could be a quantum state. What if we could make yamask in real life. :) http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Yamask_(Pok%C3%A9mon)

[Showcase] Showoff Your Rep-Worthy Crafts
andrew123 replied to Redrobin's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
0_o And way more. I don't want to clog up another thread. -
Don't worry guys. I'm pretty sure this amd fx 6300 vishera with technically 3 cores and weak individual thread performance will handle my ship just fine. I mean, my old laptop cpu was a more powerful i7 and wouldn't handled even my other creations well. I expect San Diego to have a new crater soon. I just hope my craft file will escape vaporization.

No time for ksp right now. I do have a quick question though. Should I go for this yamakasi http://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Yamakasi-2560x1600-Computer-Monitor/dp/8918010656/ref=pd_cp_pc_1 or this crossover http://www.amazon.com/Crossover-30Q5-Pro-Black-Resolution/dp/B00BJFMH4W/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1398912386&sr=1-1&keywords=30+inch+monitor+ips I could always shoot for the big fish: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-28-Inch-Definition-Monitor-U28D590D/dp/B00IEZGWI2 I just have a tearing dilemma between ips and 4k. My gtx 760 can certainly support 4k.

Only peace. Pure peace.

Spaceships would probably be hardened to emp strikes. I also believe that if the planet with resources in question has a thin atmosphere with weak gravity, a space elevator or even mass driver could deliver the materials. Most resources are actually in regions like the Oort Cloud, so asteroid and celestial mining are more viable. Do you think AI's would play an important role in the future of space combat, considering our advances in quantum computing?

The armor on the Athena class seems to be slightly myopic. I would recommend a central spine and branched armor sections along with isolated fuel tanks and an enclosed command module to prevent total destruction. Ships like my UNSC destroyer, charon class, and most other ships comrade jenkins and I have made follow the model. I believe you should look into advanced armor. It means the difference between life and death.

I wish I had time to play ksp. I have two major essays due tomorrow. XD XD On an offhand note, would an increase in mass which resulted in an increase in force result in less acceleration initially but more distance covered due to greater inertia. I have a thing for run on type sentences.

The unsc infinity likes to ram other ships. Alien ships with shields.

Lol... I got terrible artifacting in 64 km by 64 km maps. I guess I might have to upgrade, or downgrade, to one of those workstation ecc gpus. I am also working on some disposable drones. Should make battles more interesting. I feel sorry for that trident. If you hit a kraken drive, I would enjoy seeing the ensuing chaos.

I have a random request, will it be okay? Can someone test the armor on my destroyer? Can't access computer anytime soon. Must have armor rating. Download link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hgv0f7ky50k0asc/UNSC%20Sky%20Breaker%20MKII%20CA.craft Instructions for finding control pod that must be set to control the ship in flight. Random images:
