Well bloody hell .. First we got the self-destruct of the obsolete part, not to mention you can just keep it in the already flying ships no problem. Then we have the free-fps meter xD .. Finally damny asked "So guys what you want for symbols?", people responded "this-or that-or that other"... What does damny do? A settings page where you can choose the one you want... Crazy stuff damny .. hmm now i wondered if you should name your thread like this "Damny's Crazy stuff" -

So far, perfomance wise is good for me as well. The X marker is fine with me also, but if i had to choose from the above for anomalies, i would get the nabla one probably. Things from the back of my head, after playing this build, is a toggle for the flags ( i do like that they are here, but if you got many on the body it gets a bit crowded ). The icon mode for the small map is a cool feat of course, but the problem lies when you want to have the map open at the bottom of the screen. After closing it the icon gets in the way, and if you try to move the icon it opens the map again, well its a minor issue but yeah. And finnaly i would like the removal of the auto-render of the big map when you stop resizing it, reduces the jiggle-lag time if you just want to temp narrow it a bit for example. So yeah basically minor things. One feat for later builds could be a Marker addition from the big map for custom points with a small note. -
Hmm, another thing that comes to mind, without knowing, but just a hunch, is that you dont generate any MW, only electric charge .. but like i said i dont know if that should affect either the collectors or the AM tank. PS. What on earth is an ArgonGas ? If its from another mod, could that be the culprit? (KSPIs Argon should just say argon right?)

*Reads changelog... shakes head left and right rapidly ... looks again ....* Im starting to think that when you use the word "Build" you have some huge-gargantuan-ancient-miracle of the world kind of "to-build" in mind. And i mean really, beyond the fact that the changes look impressive, i dont think i have ever seen a mod to include a selfdestruct function for an obsolete part before .. Speechless ... -

Well on a Core2Duo with 5gigs ram and a gforce 9600gt, somewhat oldish system with today's standards, the frame rate drops much, not crazy down the drain but yeah. I can imagine if by chance you have the non-scanning part, installed in a big ship you fly, just to be able to keep scanning with the others, its gonna rain lag. On the other hand, just by hiding the orbit and grid, you go like you dont have this mod installed. The render on the big map, seems to lag the game a bit, (you can feel it more with Orbit and Grid ON), but full render doesnt last long so i dont think its a big problem. Also you happen to have this huge beautifull map in view, you dont even pay attention to the game fps-jiggling through the render process. So in the end, im not in any rush for optimization of the mod at this point, meaning if you got other stuff to do, i dont mind at all to give them priority imho. Final word, i already said my pc specs, add to that a heavy list of other mods installed as well in the above playthrough of scansat, all feels good. PS. The orbit lines, eq crossings, the text display along of course with the fix for the UI bug = I need a new set of pants, already have 2 wet Only thing that comes to mind right now (other than sending probes all over the system), is some way, like a dot, on the small map to show anomalies, so you dont have to keep the big one open when guiding a plane for example. -

@Nibb31: Dunno if thats any help, but if you open the KSP debug screen then you toggle a part in flight, it shows the sensor type it uses. Im not 100% sure i think i saw the 63 on one of the parts ... @Anyone Else: Anybody have a workaround for the hidden map after ship switch, that doesnt require Restart of the game? Until damny fixes it i mean. -

I happen on this thread mostly by accident, and then noticed the "Stockalike" in the title. I said, well ok lets see whats going on. "Oh man theres lots of parts going on in here, i cant be bothered to pick .. ..Hmm well he has them in groups, thats handy ... well i need most of that pack.. wait.. i need that one to. .. thats interesting as well ..wait...." A few minutes later and everything is waiting to get unzipped and installed (only reason they are waiting is because im half asleep, or should i say 1/6th of a stock awaken man? ) Big thanks for these, i always wanted some stockalike parts (especially in those areas you happen to offer) to fill my personal gaps in some of my crafts. -

Yeah one minor thing i want if feasible, is the addition of the red scanning line you have on the small map, only appearing when you render in the Big one. Really minor thing though since like amo28 said, its pretty quick to finish. -
Simple! You make a Z configuration, and .. spiiiiiiiin! Plus you could make it a nice washing machine for the long trip to Jool, minor caveat is that you are inside it, but that could work as a wake up call for regular craft maintenance or whatnot. Excitment factor because 1000 games of Kahnjong dont cut it anymore? I can think a million ways, but after only login about 4-5 hours of real life sleep during the past 48hrs, i can safelly assume that "Think" is a very optimistic function for me to perform.

Well i dunno about minimum altitude, only thing i think counts is if the LAB shows the rate when you right click it, then it should add it up. Of course theres different rates depending on where you are. (Link for chart from earlier post) (Cheers Tharios) Now other than that, are you sure that a) You have the 2 required kerbals inside, and dont remove them when you leave the ship alone. The ship doesnt run out of power at some point? Maybe theres not enough radiators to remove the heat buildup dunno. Of course you can check its performance while flying it to make sure. c) Last check is always to make sure you got the latest version of this mod, and properly installed. Cant think of anything else. Well unless you time reverted the new flight you were on after you've switched ships, that as well reverts the whole time duration of the initial Lab of course, resulting in 0 science generated. I doubt that you did but i just had to get it out

A) So you fly the LAB (im gonna call it the lab, no matter whats going on, at least it has Labs that work). You switch to another ship (many ships no matter, do stuff). C) You go back to LAB, just for loading the actual ship/craft/construction. D) Leave go back to KSC = Profit Specifically in your case, take note that (unless something terrible is happening within my head), you got 0.14 science per day, for 3 labs = 0.42, you had them for 10 days = 4.2 science. Thats 4 science, if you had 1000 now you have 1004, so maybe you missed it going up.

@ deltauad: Like Aranthos said, theres no bar anymore, it just keeps adding it to the KSC when you fly it. If you leave the ship and fly somthing else, it will keep track from the time you left it, and when you return, it will calculate and give the total again to KSC. @DrNuke: Since we are talking about research, you dont happen to have a Research/Time chart for the system handy do you?

Id prefer a right-click zoom with a left-click zoom out (or vice-versa), and a middle-click close the zoom. Or a small X icon in the top right of that window for closing. -

Just a heads up about the big map Zoom. If you want to clear the zoom, instead of using the "close" button on the big map, just use the small's toggle one to close and reopen the big. Instawipe of zoom. Instead if you use the close button on the big it stays there when you reopen it from the small. Also in case someone hasnt noticed, you can keep right clickin without waiting for render, to keep zooming in. Its fun that it goes AALL the way down to the grass, alas you dont see any detail though -

Anyway yeah i made a simple stock rocket for test, 3 man pod-decoupler-stock 2m ASAS-bigRCS-Fuel-Engine, 4rcs ports around CoM. The second flight same craft with 8 ports 4 front-4back from the CoM. Both flights had the same bug in only the one direction. Notice that if you use normal mode, instead of docking, and utilize the IJKL keys the bug does not appear. -

Hmm i just had that problem yesterday, with a ssto craft made totally out of B9 parts only. I used only 4 rcs ports, again from B9 pack, and the attitude was exact same as in Bobcats video. The only thing i can think of, is that B9's pacs as well as Bobcats, use their own Asas/sas parts, (either as seperate parts, and/or included in their pods) instead of a stock craft using stocks. So far this thing doesnt happen with stock, or at least i havnt stumble into it. Happens in stock as well.
