  1. I try to keep from killing them, but sometimes, it's just funnier to watch the thing get all explode-y.
  2. I used to skateboard back about ten years ago. Broke my arm a couple years later. Wasn't that bad it was just stupid how I did it... I put too much wax on the rail, went for a 5-0, fell back...CRACK! Broken arm. The worst thing was probably back about 4-5 years ago when I began to get sick. White as a sheet, lost weight(went from around 120 to around 95 pounds).. Having CF, this isn't good AT ALL. Night sweats...like shirt soaking wet with sweat when I wake up. I didn't pay it any attention. Went and helped a friend cut back some limbs and things in his backyard. My back started throbbing. Every time I took a breath it felt like my lungs would fill with fluid and then burst, seal up and fill again. Absolutely horrible. Anyway, I went in to my doctor and was immediately admitted to the hospital. After some tests and XRays, it was found out that I had pneumonia as well as ABPA(Allergic broncopumonary aspergillosis) a fungal lung infection. Two weeks later, I'm finally well enough to go home. About 2 months later, I help a man spread hay...Wake up the next morning(clinic visit day) and can hardly breathe. ABPA flare-up. So essentially, I spent an entire summer with my lungs destroying themselves faster than normal. I've broken bones, had kidney stones, a concussion, several cuts and bruises, but that episode with pneumonia and ABPA on top of having cystic fibrosis was the most painful thing I've gone through. WRONG! Last summer, due to me coughing so much, I ruptured my right bronchial artery. Lots of hemoptysis. Hospitalization. More blood. ICU. Blood again. No big deal, they can fix it. Embolization procedure. Two days later, blood again. The next day, a second embolization procedure that lasted twice as long. The next day, I woke up and my right lung was so irritated and inflamed that even very shallow breaths would make me wince to the point of tears. Coughing made me want to die. Luckily, about three days later, I didn't hurt anymore. No more hemoptysis since. But that was definitely the most painful thing I've gone through. Yes, I understand that the title says, "You have done." I did most of what I shared without trying, as it was the result of disease deciding to be a pest. The ABPA thing could have handled quicker had I acted like I had any sense...so I think that counts... Whatever. That's my story.
  3. My hair is a bit shorter now, but yeah... that's me.
  4. The modeling youv'e done on this is absolutely beautiful! Look forward to finally getting to fly it!
  5. WOW! I almost forgot I posted this thread! haha I only ever got something to LKO without being able to bring it back in for a powered landing. I figured it'd need around 6km/s dV to make the trip. That sound about right?
  6. Yes. Mostly because it rekindled my childhood love for spaceflight. It's also given my friend a new way for giving me the finger when I ramble about astronomy or rocketry... 3...2...1...*holding middle finger up raising it like a rocket* WE HAVE *I think you know the word* OFF! I can spend hours upon hours a day designing a rocket that works, whereas with other games, I can only put about 3 hours in a week...across all my other games.
  7. Loving the TARDIS! HOURS of entertainment in that one. Is there anyway we could get it to function a little more like it does in the show? Any ideas on how to even do that?
  8. Gonna keep note of this to try out when I have the time. Been looking for a good Saturn IB stand-in.
  9. The Mercury Capsule is the one on the list I want most. Skylab 2nd. Agena third. But whatever you do, I'll end up downloading and flying/crashing a lot because I love the way they look. You've done outstanding work on this and NP!
  10. http://xkcd.com/1244/ It gave me a pretty good chuckle.
  11. I'm going to do it, except with LionHead's MEM with CSM and the Apollo Mission Pack Saturn V. I want it to LOOK authentic. Also, with Kerbal Crew Manifest, I'm making Neil, Buzz and Mike... This is the first time I'll get to do this, so I want to make it feel like it's Apollo 11...just without the extra stuff they deployed.
  12. I plan on doing an Apollo tribute Mun landing Saturday. Going to be my first visit to the Armstrong Memorial, too.
  13. I failed for about 3 hours to land BobCat's Buran before finally realizing that I had been coming in WAY too steep... I feel kind of stupid...
  14. OOO! Goodie! I've enjoyed playing around with the big single piece Enterprise, it's a wee bit sensitive, but REALLY fun.
  15. Alabama and Georgia both have this. With me living right on the state line, I get both...which is essentially the same programming, just with the Georgia programming being an hour ahead(I live in two time zones essentially.)
  16. When you're done with revamping the engines in NP, are you planning anything for this, or are you thinking about taking a break for a little bit? This is a great pack, and there really isn't anything I'd like to see added other than a Mercury replica to replace the stock capsule, I'm just being nosy. haha As a side note, I went to the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama at the first of June and saw the replicas of Mercury Redstone and Atlas, and it gave me a whole new appreciation for early US space flight, and it convinced me to finally download this mod and play around with it(used the Gemini parts from the old NP pack before, never thought too much about Mercury.)
  17. Educational TV is dead. You may say, "OH! Science Channel still has educational stuff!" But I only handle so much of "How Do They Do It?" "How It's Made" and "Factory Made" before I pull my hair out. Don't get me wrong, "Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman" is decent, but that's all the Science Channel is, those same programs over and over and over. Plus, most weekends, Science Channel goes sci-fi. There used to be some variety and you had about 6 channels of educational programming. Now, all that's on TV is garbage.
  18. One little question: The Odin/Thor Mun rocket system... Are you keeping that? I REALLY liked using them in .19. I loved how it was a slightly more streamlined version of Apollo.
  19. The TARDIS translation matrix had a hiccup. It worked on the writing, but not speech. You know how those old type 40s are...
  20. In your posts you're not linking to the video, you're linking to an analytics page. I was able to find the video. I've enjoyed these so far, keep 'em up!
  21. I hadn't even thought of using intakes and jet engines...
  22. Things have taken a turn for the even more interesting...
  23. Those are space planes, I 'm talking about SSTO rockets that take off from the launchpad, not the runway.
  24. I know that making SSTO rockets is possible in this game because I've made a few after seeing that one guy that made the Pegasus Clipper inspired rockets. What I'm wondering is if it's possible for a single Stage to Mun rocket... I haven't exactly worked out the delta-V requirements, but I know it's up there. I keep running into the problem of adding things and seeing my delta-V plummet. I can get an SSTO rocket that can return and have 1kms deltaV left upon Kerbin return, but can't get anything to the Mun and back... Ideas? There's no real practical reason to this, it's more of a, "Because I can!" type thing.
