Year 4916: by now, all Kerbals are sane. Awkward... Year 4916.2: The Klenderman killed himself when he ate a kapple (poisonous to non-Kerbals only). Year 4916.4: Kerbin's gravity returns to the present state. It remains today. Year 4917: As it turns out, Jeb have been living in insularity (isolation) since the Soyuz crashed. He now returns and reboots the Kerbal Space Program. (Fill in the rest guys. Do not change these years' stories, however. Also, I don't care if there are references to similarly named ones, I'm calling them official.) Year 4956 (1981 KD): the Kerbal War 1 really ended. It is only coined as an official world war today (some historians disagreed that the war is official, however). The Treaty of Kersallie ends the war, with Kermany punished. Year 4958 (1983 KD): until 4967, this is known as United States of Kermerica's Jazz age. 4967.3 (1992.3 KD): more investors invested on stocks. The stocks are traded over the original value. 4967.10 (1992.10 KD): "Black Tuesday": The stock market crash, causing the Great Depression, which will last for 10 years. 4971 (1996 KD): Adolf Kerman rose to power as Fuhrer and President of Kermany, unleashing a 12-year Reign of Terror. At the same time Franklin Delano Kerman, in Kermerica, became the president. In the 100 days that followed, Kermany became increasingly totalitarian, while USK began a long recovery from the Great Depression. 4975 (2000 KD): The Kino-Kapanese War (later known as the KWII Pacific Theater) begins. The harsh tactics employed by the Kapanese outraged the Kermericans so much that they imposed an oil embargo. 4977 (2002 KD): the Kerbal War II began, with attack on Koland in Europe (thus opening the Europa Theater). 4978 (2003 KD): Krance fell, and Great Kritain was on the verge of defeat when its Air Force crushed a larger Kuftwaffe. This indefinitely postponed Operation Kealion and allowed Kritain time to regroup and rebuild its strength. The Kermericans also decided to aid the Allies in the war. 4979 (2004 KD): The Kapanese bombed Kerbal Harbor in Kawaii islands, "officially" starting the KWII Pacific Front. Success seemed to come to the Kaps. The same year Kermany invades Soviet Krussia, hoping for a swift victory; the advance was halted due to Krussian winter. 4980 (2005 KD): In two decisive Pacific battles the Kermericans Navy severely weakened the IKN (Imperial Kapanese Navy) and halted Kapanese assaults. The Operation Torch (invasion of Northern Kafrica) pushed the Axis out further, turning the tide of the war. 4981 (2006 KD): Kuadalcanal campaign ended in Allied victory, while the Allies cleansed Italy of the Axis evil. Meanwhile Kermany is losing on its two-front war, while the Kermericans are cautiously gaining in its two-front war. 4982 (2007 KD): Overall the Axis is losing. January: the Kermericans gained toehold on the Philiphines. February: K-Day preparation begins at astonishing speed. May: A series of Allied deceptions kept the Axis from revealing its plan. Meanwhile the weather seemed bad for K-Day. June: After confirmation of a window in between storms the invasion began. It was bloody, but the surprise factor helped secure the beaches and land advances for the Allies. August: Paris is liberated, ending the official Kerman control of Krance. Meanwhile the Allies sped up its invasion by activating Operation Market Garden, but with limited success. December: The Kermans surprised the Allied forces by Blitzkrieg, but the ax fell as the dent began to narrow. In the weeks that followed, the Allies held out from the countless attacks. The final Blitzkrieg, by Adolf Kerman, was a failure. 4983 (2008 KD): January: More trouble (for the Axis) followed as Krussia launched a successful offensive against Kermany, while preparing for possible invasion of Kapan. April: Franklin D. Kerman died in office and is succeeded by Harry S Kerman. May: Adolf Kerman commits suicide. The Kerman Third Reich fell on the 7th and VE (Victory in Europa) day was declared. The fight against Kapan continues, however. August: On the 3rd an atomic bomb explodes in Kiroshima, killing thousands. On the 9th another exploded in Nagasaki, killing another thousands. On the same day Krussia declared war on Kapan and invaded Mankuria. On the 15th Kapan surrendered, and the peace treaty is signed on September 2nd. September: Kapanese signed the peace treaty on the 2nd. Also Wernher Von Kerman, the mastermind after the Kerman rocket program, turned himself in to the Kermericans. He will greatly help the Kerbal Space Program in the future. 4984 (2009 KD): While hopes of total peace remained (the Kerbal Nations was founded in 2008 KD), the Kold war (between USSR and USK) began. It darkened the skies. 4990 (2015 KD): No one expects it, but the Soviet Union collapsed, ending the Kold War. Well, that was short. 4992 (2017 KD): Years after the KSP have been restarted, Jebediah Kerman became the first Kerbal in space since 4915. 4995 (2020 KD): After the Kerbals landed on the Mun (Jeb, Bill, and Bob), the Kerbal Space Station is launched. 4997 (2022 KD): Edward Kerman leaked KSA (Kerbal Security Agrncy) information and is forced to head for Krussia for asylum. He hated Krussia's action, as the KNN (Kerbal News Network) reports. 4998 (2023 KD): Despite the freezing Krussian-Kermericans relations, the Duna mission is getting prepared. 4999 (2024 KD): Krussia invades Ukraine, seizing Krimea, thus further freezing the Krussian-Kermericans relations. The plus is that the Krussian president, Vladimir Kerman, acknowledged the Ukraine election, saying it's the right direction. 5000 (2025 KD): The precursor mission is postponed until after the Duna mission, however the first manned Duna mission is launched, containing crew members from around the world (7 people, but still, around the globe): Jebediah (Kermerican), Bill (Kritish), Bob (Kaustralian), and four others (Krussian, Kisareli, Kerman, and yet another Kermerican, respectively). (This probably surprised all of you. You thought the Original Three came from the same country, eh? What if they don't? There are no mentioning of where they're from, so it's best to make it up.) 5001 (2026 KD): The Duna ship, KSS Atlantis, arrives on the Duna system. The crew spent time studying Duna and Ike (discovered in 2017 KD, named after Dwight D. Kerman), then returned. At that same time Jebediah (commander of the Duna mission) received a letter from a 10-year-old girl (name undisclosed) and was simply surprised. 5002 (2027 KD): A jubilant Duna crew returns to Kerbin with the much-needed studies. Conditions in most countries. At that time, are improving. Except maybe Krussia and Kina, due to long hostilities and military drags. OK, just so to remind you: Fill in the years between 4917 and 4956 and since year 5002, possibly to fill in e gaps between the defined years. Don't change any of the specified, and I will ignore comments on already existing references (I know there are several references before, but I'm just gonna redo it.).

Why does it take about 1000 years before humans are acknowledged? 4801: Things magically return to pre-craziness location and orbit, but time didn't change. 4809-4900: (Record lost) 4901: After 92 years, the Record of 4809-4900 are finally found. What it is: 4809: Everything seems to inflate. Turns out 52% of the Kerbal population are hallucinated. 4824: The hallucination disappears. Apparently 1 balloon contains that gas. That was released into space, never to be seen again. Or is it? 4848: Words from humans that the bloons may be attacking Kerbin. The Kerbals prepared for that assault. 4852: The bloons invade Kerbin, but is popped by the Kerbals with their guns. 4868: The first MOAB-class bloon is sent to Kerbin. It fails. 4888: The first BFB is sent to Kerbin. RIP BFB. 4899: The first ZOMG is sent to Kerbin. RIP ZOMG. 4900: The bloons decided on a massive attack on the Kerbals. RIP the bloons. (The things from KD 4809-4900 are all my homage to Bloons Tower Defense 5.)

Sorry. AR202: That's OK. Gene: FIDO? FIDO: We are go. Gene: CAPCOM? Jeb: We are go. Gene: All right. All systems go. You may begin countdown now, Bill. Bill: Roger that. 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... and we have liftoff! Bill: Looks good. Jeb: Right. AR202: Altitude report. Dragon at 32km ASL... Later...Jeb: Alright. You are to land back at KSP Pad, AR202. AR202: Gotcha. Bill: Wait! Isn't landing on Kerbin a little... risky? Jeb: At this rate? No. KerbX has redeveloped the Dragon modules so that the engines are way more efficient than now. It even has enough to go home, but it of course doesn't have enough power or storage to support that. Bill: Right. Jeb: Anyway... Dragon CRS-1... do you read me? AR202: ... Jeb: I said: Dragon CRS-1... do you read me? AR202: ... Jeb: Seriously? AR202: ... kxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Checking system. Flight plan prepared: 100%. Royalty level: 1% Bill: Huh? AR202: Just kidding. It's a real fireball in here. Bill: Right. Bill: The Dragon's coming too fast! Jeb: Do you have to be some kind of a nuisance? Bill: NO! I really meant that a disaster is gonna- engine activates Bill: Happen. Jeb: Test one complete. Bill: Now what? Jeb: To DUNA! Bill: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Bill: No! I'm not gonna handle this nonsense! Jeb: Relax. I'm letting others to do now. Besides, we have to- beepOh frak. We are almost late for a meeting! We need to go to there NOW! Bill: Something tells me it's not gonna end well. At the meeting room...Jeb: Now what? Gene: Well, we have some problems with the ships. Jeb: What's going on? Gene: We are supposed to launch base ships to Duna soon, but Northrop Krumman isn't keeping up with all the necessities the precursor ship needs. Bill: So? Gene: That wasn't the worst - Relationship between Krussia and USK became icy when Krussia threatens Ukraine by stealing Krimea. Some of our cargo required for mission can only be launched upon the Prokon booster. Bill: So what? Gene: Well... It's a good luck that our shuttles are retrofitted and ready to go. But there's another problem with them. Jeb: I thought Rockwell International is supposed to finish the shuttles today. Gene: Yes. But they have noticed some defects and delayed the deployments of the shuttles. Jeb: Frak! What about China! Err Kina! Gene: The Kinese considered launching some of our equipment. But then... same problems Rockwell had. Bob: Is it serious? Gene: paused for a while Yeah. Pogo oscillation detected in Long March III, which is the only available Kinese launcher at the time. Jeb: Great. Well, it is really bad? Gene: Well, it will definitely jeopardize the precursor mission that's scheduled to launch soon. However, it won't really jeopardize the manned mission much, since the KLA - Kerbal Launch Alliance - had designed new boosters for heavier load. But the loss of scientific equipment does throw a monkey wrench into our plan. I don't know. Jeb: Do we have to have a precursor before this? We don't have to, right? Bill: Jeb's right. Most of the equipment launched in the precursor mission are not necessary. Besides, launching a crew who don't know much about Duna may actually kill them instead. Have you ever read Czokletmuss's novel? Gene: Gee... OK, it's settled. We are postponing the precursor mission until after the manned mission is done. Then we'll discuss more about this. Understood? Jeb & Bill: Yessir. Fire. Fireball. Hurling toward the planet. When will this ever end? Jeb: AR202, do you read me? AR202: Woah... sorry Jeb, been daydreaming. Jeb: Sure you did. Anyway, prepare for landing. AR202: Yeah, right. Like I couldn't do it. (Fill in this part based on the next few pictures.) Time has passed, and with each test, the Duna crew is closer and closer to the mission itself. The question is, what would happen?Also, still awaiting opinions on either many short chapters or few long chapters. And no, I have changed the settings for the Dragon lander. Too inefficient with the original (at least for me).

Jeb: Gene had thought of using us. But then he decided that losing Kerbals are kinda too much. Bobster: Very funny Jeb. Think I can replace Bob? Jeb: Nah. In case you aren't prepared, I had a surprise for you. AR202: Hello, guys. Bobster: You? Come on! How can this AI do? Jeb: No comments. Melcal: ... Bobster: ... Jeb: Prepare for launch! Bill: 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... Bobster: (during countdown) Why didn't they get rid of this countdown noise and replace it with a women saying "It's time to go, baby."? Melcal: Beats me. Bill: ... 2... 1... Booster ignition and liftoff! Bill: KSO has cleared the tower. Later... Begin gravity burn. Bobster: Ahhhhhhhhh... Some time later... Bobster: Ahhh and ahhh... Jeb: Wake up, Bobby and Melcal. Melcal: Roger that, CAPCOM. Jeb: That's more like it. Bobster: Ha ha, Jeb. Jeb: How's it going out there? Melcal: Everything is good. Jeb: Good. You guys are landing soon. Bobster: Oh lord... Much, much later...Bobster: Seriously? Landing a ship? Jeb: Well, not actually by you. AR202 will help do it. AR202: Hello again. Melcal: Artoo! We are glad to see you! AR202: Are you guys there yet? Silence. So silent that Bobster and Melcal can hear Jeb, over the comm, mumbling. Jeb: (Mumbles quietly) Come on... Bobster: It's pretty toasty here, Jeb. Jeb: Right. Bobster: Looks smooth here. Melcal: I don't know... I think we may've been approaching too fast... Bill: You guys are live. Melcal: Whoops. AR202: Brace yourself for- Thump Melcal: OW! AR202: ... landing. Jeb: Hmmm... needs reconfiguration of the engines. Wait here. Bill: Hey, Jeb, where are you go- OW! *Thump* *Screech* Melcal: That was the most natural moment of my life. Bobster: Yup. Now what's next? In the Experimental room... Bill: Ouch. Maybe I should have removed my headphone before chasing you. Jeb: Right. Bill: Why did you run? Jeb: You know, reconfiguration, redoing simulations... Bill: What's this? Jeb: Simulation on the prototype. We are scheduled to launch them soon, but we need to ensure that this works. Bill: Hmmm. I think we could redesign a few. Jeb: You think so? Bill: Yeah. Jeb: Well, thanks. Meanwhile, I gotta get ready. Bill: Get ready for what? Jeb: Dragon Test. Bill: But how can we do it? Simulation? Kerbin test? Mun test? Teleportation? Jeb: No, no, no, but yes. Loading from disc 1... Loading complete. Prologue 1: VASIMR Jeb: Alright, let's begin the VASIMR test now. AR202? AR202: Ready as ever be, Jeb. Bill: Are you sure this is a good idea Jeb? Jeb: Don't worry, Bill. AR202 is right now, online. It'll have enough time to download all the data when he goes offline. Bill: Offline? When? Jeb: When the probe is out of any satellite reach. AR202: May I start the launch? Jeb: You may. 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... AR202: Wait! Where's the secondary AI? Jeb: Ummm... GFS's the one. Anyway... Liftoff! Jeb: And there it goes. Anyway... Bill... can I talk to you? Bill: Sure. Why? Jeb: Because- Gene appeared behind them. Gene: Jeb, Bill. Both of you. Meet me in the meeting room. Jeb: Looks like our conversation's been cut short. Bill: Yup. Come on... In the meeting room...Gene: Welcome, everyone. Jeb: OK, Gene. I don't know why you called us on such lovely day... Besides, we are still helping out Von Kerman's experiment... Bill: Yeah, we were having fun there tweaking the VASIMRS... Gene: Do not think that fact escapes me. Now quiet. Jeb and Bill remained quiet. Gene: Anyway, we have this meeting because you... Jebediah, Bill, Bob, Kelvis, Sherlorf, Mallock, and Sidble, you are chosen for this mission. Kelvis: I still don't get why we are chosen. Gene: You are chosen because you are the... what's it called... elite of the elite... Bob: Come on, Gene... A badass, a dumb guy, a scaredy guy, a crazy guy, a detective, a mediocre doctor, and an amateur scientist is all you think would do? Gene: Err... Maybe? Jeb: But where are we going to? Sidble: To the Mun? Minmus? We've gone to there, like, thousand times? Gene: Not Mun. Not Minmus. Mallock: OK... don't tell me this is going to be difficult... Gene: All of you are going to Duna. Dead silence. Jeb: (Laughing) I thought probes were enough. Dead silence. Again. Gene: Yes, but... they broke down. More dead silence. Jeb: (Laughter contained) OK. What are the mission goals? Gene: Thank goodness. You guys are sent to further study Duna, and its moon, Ike. We have, like, no information on Ike. Sherlorf: What? I thought probes have orbited on Duna! Gene: That was before ion-propulsion being researched thoroughly. Now many probes were dead. Silent. Jeb: OK, OK. I assume that's primary objective. What's the secondary? Tertiary? Gene: That's actually secondary. Primary is to get you guys back home alive. We couldn't afford to lose more Kerbonauts anymore. Recruitments are pretty low, actually. Tertiary is to deploy satellites and/or land on Ike. We must do Duna first, then Ike, but we must make sure you guys are gonna live through the entire thing. Jeb: Well, let's hope ion-propulsion really is up to the task. Wernher von Kerman broke into the meeting room. Wernher: Jebediah and Bill Kerman, go to the mission control ASAP! Jeb & Bill: Yessir. Gene: Well, I guess I could end it here. Anyway, hope you guys know what you are doing soon. See you soon. Dismissed. Everyone except Gene left quickly. Gene: Well, that was quick. In the Mission Control...Jeb: How's things going, AR202? AR202: Good. So far my wings have been opened. Jeb: Good. Let's run some power test. AR202 throttled to 100% GeoSat Flight System: WARNING! Power critical! AR202 throttled downed to 0%. Bill: And here's your test, Jeb! Wernher: OK, so power usage is around 6500 per second at maximum thrust, regardless of specific impulse as it affects argon usage only. Jeb: Yep. Bill: Something tells me that this could get crazy... Jeb: OK, it looks like the satellite is ready to come home. Wernher: I don't think it'll help us much... Jeb: Come on, Wernher; you don't have to worry so much... GFS: Heating up... 1125K... 1570K... 2247K... WARNING! Temperature have reached 2400K... GFS: Solar panel lost. WARNING! Temperature exceeds safety level. Current temperature: 2756K Wernher: Are you this is a good idea? Jeb: I'm sure it's fine. I'll get to the "fine" part later. GFS: ERROR! VW-15K inoperable. Later... Current temperature: 828K... 624K... 423K... 291K... DANGER! High altitude drop speed! High al- Crash! AR202: Last AWLTS signal received. Locating alternative signals... Jeb: Thanks for capturing the last signal AR202. Wernher: But the ship is destroyed! Jeb: Most of it. In the event of a catastrophic failure the data system - which is located in the core of the ship - disconnects itself from the rest of the network. The part of the core that protects the data system is made of diamond, which is more sturdy than most metals, so instead of collapsing, it is buried instead. After the trouble the data system sends a weak signal to the nearest geosynchronous satellite which will pick up the signal. If we are lucky enough, we can get all the data uncorrupted without even sending a recovery team. We need to get quickly, though, as the data system only has enough for 3o days, so when it's off we'll have to manually retrieve it. Based on the current situation, we might have to dig it out - it could be buried too deep. Call in the- AR202: Unable to find SCS signal. Locating alternative signals... Bill: Don't tell me it's the prototype! Jeb: Well, it is a prototype. But- AR202: DS signal found. Downloading packages... Wernher: Look, it's a handy device. Jeb: Yeah... AR202: Download complete. Jeb: Pretty good, I guess. Wernher: Probably... This is just getting started. In a couple of months or years Jebediah and his crew will be going to space, to an alien world that was previously only visited by satellites.Anyway, in case you are confused, I'm clarify a few: GFS: GeoSat Flight System, the AI for most GeoSat satellites AR202: The badass AI, used on some manned and unmanned ships. The main AI of the series. #K: # degree Kelvins. Celsius = Kelvins - 273.15 VW-15K: The Big Brother counterpart of the VW-200. Will be used on the Duna mission. AWLTS: Alternate Wavelength Location Transmission System. The one that determines the location, as well as trajectory, and other calculations, of the spacecraft. SCS: Ship Communication System. Installed on every ship. For probes it's the command receiver, as well as status sender; for the manned ships it's both that and face-on communicators. DS: Data system. It's mid-night in London. 8 hours later it's midnight here. Now, Czo is probably sleeping (it's 1 AM in Poland!), so if anyone are willing to wait until on or past or before midnight to see the final chapter, I don't mind. I don't think Czo's gonna mind, either. -

For some reason when I choose to resume a save, the game prompts me that the DMP save is incompatible. So I deleted it. That leaves me with the Sandbox mode (not DMP or multiplayer). How can I get to multiplayer if the DMP save keeps getting deleted? -

Thanks. Expect 1 in at least 100 screenshots will have a mission timer that's green, though. My computer's pretty old, but can still run on KSP albeit with mods (which causes lags, apparently). EDIT: And I'm on a laptop.
