We finally got 0.20! But what about the future?

I'd also like to see kerbal parachutes on EVA -
Can somebody explain to me how 3D printing works? I saw on the news NASA is funding research on a food 3D printer for deep-space missions

things I'd like to see -Aerodynamics -Better loading times/efficiency(not loading every part in the game when launching a small probe) -Mining/Resources -Reentry heat -More interesting planets with weather/plants or something -Another planet other than a gas giant -AIR BRAKES I'm not suggesting all this get added, I'm just saying I hope atleast one of these is in it -
Planet Ideas And Names For The Future Of Kerbal Space Program

Eventually a neutron star -
I was just wondering, who here thinks the MAC cannons in Halo are pretty cool? Who thinks they would actually work to effect? ( http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Magnetic_Accelerator_Cannon )

Here's an idea to fight heavy orbiting ships- Why try blow up a heavy armored ship, when you could send 50 or so small rockets that could latch onto it and fire off thrusters retro-gade, dropping the ship into the atmoshpere? It'd only work in low orbits and they enemy would need to have slow, low TWR, and no way of shooting off the thrusters, but hey it's an idea

The first update i have actually been disappointed in

this update was more of a mechanics update, it changed graphics and engines a quite a bit -

People expect too much at first launch, it is launched so it can get mass-tested, then updated. If you want it to be thoroughly tested, then don't expect speedy updates. I haven't seen any game-breaking bugs, only the textures not being as good. And yes, I know this is a rant thread, I'm not talking at the ranters, just the people insulting Squad for having bugs in the game. -
Hey, you can't assume a suggestion is so dumb people think it's sarcasm I've seen some very, very stupid ideas that were (unfortunately) legitimate
-
True, but I'm more talking about when we become completely artificial
-
But, by the time we become robotic, computers will be hundreds of times stronger. Stronger than human brains, and I bet they could imitate emotions (Anyone seen I-Robot with Will Smith?). If not, then robots would not feel greed either. Therefore, "humanity"/robots would all work at max efficiency together. But then there's the topic of how the machines evolve and build better machines then themselves to evolve in a way, and therefore some might turn "greedy" due to trying to use other robots resources for their own use. ANYWAY, If this happened, would the robots try evolve and build better robots? If they aren't sentient, they won't feel the instinct need to spread and multiply. Or even to explore, unless programmed otherwise.

Pros: -Amazing texture job -Great animation -Useful parts (like the passenger part and Gyroscope) -Electric plane engines -Lots of action group options (Which I think more people need to do!) -Intake tanks Cons: -Parts have a bad weight:size:lift ratio (the large bomber wing has less lift than the standard delta wing...?) -The electric engines don't work (They get electric starved, even when attached directly to a battery) -The electric engines deleted themselves from my game after I put them on a plane -Engines aren't strong enough to get you up to a speed you can maintain intake air -The cockpits are indestructible (As far as I can tell) It has a great look and idea (I love WWII style planes with propellers) But, it needs a bit of balancing
-
I guess that makes sense, sort of like beings that can travel into and through space
-
Up to 5 I can see, but at living spaceship it seems a bit... out there. I do think we are getting closer to the robotic life era though

I just wanted to clean out the bits & pieces of mods -
Fresh Download on Steam?

Alright, thank you. I just wanted to be sure it didn't screw anything up -
How can I reinstall KSP in steam with a fresh game? Do I just delete all the files and download it again?
-
I think Kerbals At War shows a good view of my idea, Especially at 1:30
-
Exactly On a side note, imagine the size of the bombers an efficient KSP based engine could make B2's on the way!
-
Thank you! haha, some people seem to instantly reject any form of spin off, as if they assume squad will finish KSP and then just give up making games. Does it hurt to think of possibilities? and on a side note, technically it wouldn't really be space-war, because it's mainly planet based, with only the space being used as a tool to get an orbit and whatnot
