Well you don't have to play the game. You can wait until they release an update that removes these bugs that you are experiencing and play then. Nobody is forcing you to play now.

Apparently it was easier because they could see the shadows of the rocks so they would know how close they were. It was also to land around the side facing earth so they would remain within communication range and tv range.

The whole forum and spaceport went down for about a week and a half. When it went back up the last forum backup was in October 2012 so anybody who registered after October lost their forum accounts and anyone from who registered before lost all their posts in that period. Is the parts folder you are looking in the one that you see when you first open the game folder? because the stock parts are in gamedata/squad/parts and are arranged. Mod parts can also have this treatment although it is a bit confusing as to how to edit them so they work in this way.

I don't think it affects anything other than how happy they are at rocket launches. It might however be a precursor to things to come as Malachai said. Who knows?

If you are on steam it should update automatically or when you click on the game and click update. If not then you should go to the store log in click profile under where it says your name scroll to the bottom and click update, then what operating system you use.

Its not an event that you can go to at the moment it is just a live stream event from the devs over a whole day. It happens at the end of November. It is too early to know whether it will happen this year though.

I believe it is just a way of showing a fun little statistic and a way of seeing what kerbals are on board your current spacecraft from the map view. It is also 0.20.0 that has been released not 2.0. Edit: ninjd on the version correction.

It is outdated, you are going to have to use another site as the attachments system for the forum doesn't work

It is the Damned robotics plugin that is the problem, delete it and the game will load with no problems.

I believe the new part folder is for mod parts so as to separate them out somewhat. Edit: Its so that older parts from mods can still be used due to the new config files

The pluginData folder usually gets created when you first get a mod that needs one. It is not part of the stock game download.

You need to go to the store, log in and download or if you are on steam it should do it automatically for you. You can't use the patcher

My least favorite is Dres, never been there and it is fairly low down my list of things to do in the game. My favorite is Jool just because of all the stuff you can do there.

Technically it is possible but it would, again, be stationary in relation to something, and not something else. It would be stationary in relation to Kerbol orbit but not in relation to, say, Kerbin which might e moving away from you and so you would not be stationary in relation to the planet.

It would be very difficult to do that, you would be better off docking while in orbit around Kerbin or Jool.

You could also use the Girders parts to make a small cage that can push a piece of debris.

I messed around with my Kethane refueling depot, burst the tires on one of the parts landed Jeb and Bill to fix the tires, found and fixed a problem with the docking area, refueled my space station and landed my refueling craft back at the Kethane depot.

Don't worry about it, I frequently have unplanned catastrophic dis-assemblies of my rocket that my kerbals can walk away from, they are considered successful failures.
