As far as I see it, some member of the community could easily write a conversion program provided you don't have too many kerbals out and about. I guess we'll have to see how far this new update will take it. I personally wouldn't mind editing my saves manually if I had to. What do you all think?
Input is handled using action groups, which tell the ports to undock. The only way to link multiple gates together is by enclosing one inside the other. This leads to be problem of machines becoming exponentially larger as they become more complex.
IF enough NASA employees play, there may be an N-body expansion pack with realistic physics because those guys at JPL with their supercomputers CAN process stuff like that.
Giggleplex, I must say: I love small craft. I LOVE small craft. Here's my take on Orion, but with reusability intended, thus the docking ports above and below. Edit: This was taken on my Sandy Bridge Pentium laptop, thus low settings.
I (believe) the Juno 1 launcher, which put Explorer 1 into orbit, could deliver more than 7 kilograms to TLI. I also found a design for a cubesat that could land there that weighed 3 kilograms total, 2 for the ion drive system and 1 for the lander. I imagine we could build a cubesat base on the moon for a really low cost.
