What if we knew how to turn CO2 into O2?
RockyTV replied to RockyTV's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Did you read this article? (posted on first page, last post): http://www.aolnews.com/2011/03/16/need-more-air-artificial-trees-to-convert-carbon-dioxide-to-oxy/ -
How to make a NON-PART plugin?
RockyTV replied to greg12's topic in KSP1 C# Plugin Development Help and Support
No. C++ is a different language than C#. A lot different. And KSP uses C#. -
Or you can do like me calculating my mass while building the rocket. Just put the displayed value and keep calculating, but remember to type in the displayed value right. That way you'll get your ship's mass in tons.

I've found that. http://www.aolnews.com/2011/03/16/need-more-air-artificial-trees-to-convert-carbon-dioxide-to-oxy/ -
Planet Ideas And Names For The Future Of Kerbal Space Program
RockyTV replied to Dead Pixel's topic in KSP1 Discussion
May I ask when are new planets going to be implemented? -
What if we knew how to turn CO2 into O2?
RockyTV replied to RockyTV's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Now I came up with another question: the Sabatier reaction provides an unlimited energy source? (think with me: put the reactor near the engines, where the temperatures are so much elevated, capture the released CO2, then do it all again) -
What if we knew how to turn CO2 into O2?
RockyTV replied to RockyTV's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Ohhh, that's nice. Didn't knew that. -
Let me make an intro here. I'm fascinated with those space stuff, like rockets being launched, NASA and it's missions, etc. And I'm a 13-year old kid who plays KSP and is fascinated with space. Yep, that's right. I'm the kind of guy that asks his dad: "dad, why didn't we learn how to nuclear fusion yet?", "dad, why NASA wont go to Mars on a tripulated mission", "dad, why the sky is blue?". So, yesterday, I was going to bed and I kept talking to my dad about our solar system planets and their composition. Then I found out that a big part of them has carbon dioxide in their atmosphere, that is over 9000 80% percent of it's atmosphere. And I did a little joke with him - I said "we will only get to explore the deep space when we turn CO2 into O2". He said "what would that help us?". And then I went to sleep, thinking on what I just said. What if it is actually possible, and we can discover many new stuff with it? What if with CO2 turning into O2, we could develop a "bio"-plant that doesn't needs water to survive and does what a normal plant do?

Good news. I actually designed a very heavy lifter that can lift up to 524 tonssubject to change of Payload into space! Since I'm not home yet (will be in 5 days), I calculated it all using math, with my spreadsheet made on Google Drive. The lifter itself weights 546t. So I'm gonna share my design with you: 2 Jumbo Tanks in the middle, followed by a Mainsail engine. 6 Jumbo Tanks radially attached to the middle one, then 6 more on the top of those 6. (be sure to setup asparagus staging or it wont work) When I get home I'll test this design and see if it can carry 524 tons or less. But anyways, I still think I did some math wrong. EDIT: Bio, I should be an engineer and not a launch provider... I got confused with your graph but anyways I want to be an engineer, if possible.

Science leads to wonderful things (PIC HEAVY)
RockyTV replied to Dave Kerbin's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
EDIT: nvm... Just realised what was wrong :C Nice anyways, keep up with this! -
And could I be an engineer-in-training?

Nice reports! It makes me feel inspired to play KSP! By the way, I'd like to suggest you to add sepratrons in the service module while landing on Kerbin, placed with the side up to the service's module left, because it can change the course of the pod to the side you've placed them. Oh and, about the pictures, try pressing F2 then F1 in Kerbal Space Program, they will come up in high-res! -
Like, a station above the Mun, while the Mun is all zoomed in showing a small base on it.
-
Can't you just put the lander in the station in the Mun while there's a base in the Mun? If not then, remove the lander and just put the station and base.
-
Nonono I meant like red-ish font ah f-ck it just like an official document like this I mean an image with a lander orbiting the Mun with a space station on it and a base on the Mun, and written TOP SECRET in that font above.
-
Idk why but it remembers me of NASA's Atlantis...
-
Could you do an wallpaper with those top secret thingies in red with a lander orbiting the Mun with a space station on it and a base on the Mun?
-
I was thinking - what if we shared our career saves while being a member of the ISSO? Like, Bio starts it then we start developing things to get science and stuff..
-
I'd like to be reassigned as a launch provider, please. A launcher provider in testing since I'm getting revived to KSP and I'm still trying to find cool methods to develop efficient rockets. EDIT: I could re-arrange the official document for ISSO and make it prettier...
-
Any assignments?

Mission Name: Kerman SpyNet Launcher: Kerman S.T.S.L. (Small-Ton-Satellite-Lifter) Payload: SpyNet Mk I Manned/Unmanned: Unmanned Mission Objective: to ensure that collected data from outer worlds will reach the Kerman Corp. Headquarters, and provide further exploration of Kerbin. Mission Outcome: SUCCESS! Mission Status: LKO Data Aquired: after a few minutes analysing the aquired data, I could realise that Space Temperature may vary, depending on which continent you are flying over. - NEEDS FURTHER INVESTIGATION. IF YOU WANT TO DO IT CONTACT ME THEN. Mission Highlights/Pictures: Aquired Data

I can try remixing it to be a dubstep version
