The R9 200 series was launched late 2013, pretty sure it was meant to compete with Nivida's 700 series(Which was launched in may), not the 9xx.

It should automatically switch to the Radeon GPU when you start up a game, if not you can change which applications will use it in the settings. The Intel card is used for everything else to save battery power.

It was an amazing movie experience, the music and the plot were great. Obviously it's sci fi, and the science is going to be a little inaccurate; But at least they didn't add any sounds in the space scenes.
