  7. Can you upload a Dropbox mirror? I feel a little sketchy downloading from mediafire (not your stuff but the service itself, could be viruses).
  8. Image. of the launch of the Jool probe (for jool) used an atlas 531. One of the hairiest launches i have ever done, the LV was so wobbly i thought the payload would fall off, but it didn't. Will the delta be finished in time for EFT-1? Image:
  9. The concept: an orbiter lander combo which shall be launched to eve by an atlas v LV. detailed concept: orbiter: aies explon-d with suncat-2 panels and biggest antenna (the long panels that rotate) dmagic orbital science parts: Anomalous signal scanner. Magnometer boom. Radio and plasma wave science antenna. Panda jäger parts: flat goo analyzer small goo container. spectrometer. 4 basic science parts(AIES style) lander: AIES round gold probe core with hexagonal deck, small engine and legs) same panda jäger parts as above 4 basic science parts (AIES) Dmagic science parts: core laser surface scanning lazer. Probe Parachute (FASA) Tomorrow I'll build the mission according to this concept, fly it, post pics and a .craft. And clear up ambiguous part names with the more specific ones. Is their anything I should change before I build and run it? Mods: Dmagic Orbital Science. Panda Jäger Laboratories. ULA Atlas V 2.0 AIES Aerospace. Athena II by ganinian. JPLV by Ansur_nied. 13. No it shouldn't, spaceport was taken down. I reiterate my request for a full mirror.
  14. Oh my god! That's amazing!, wonder what the IVA will look like?
  15. There has been many discussions on various boards around the Internet bashing SpaceX because they take long to launch other things after launching a mission and their rockets aren't terribly reliable. I have two rebuttals for these: 1: SpaceX is learning, just as lockeed Martin and Boeing did back in the early days of the space race, SpaceX needs time to catch up, then they will be cheaper and more reliable than ULA. 2:the reliability rating takes into account the falcon 1 and falcon 1.0, the falcon 1 had many serious launch failures, but is not used anymore, so the reliability rating should be recalculated. Thoughts on these points? Source: http://www.forbes.com/sites/lorenthompson/2014/06/02/spacex-versus-the-air-force-the-other-side-of-the-story/?partner=yahootix
