Maybe they should keep Sandra Bullock on board for just such emergencies. Then she can just jet on over to the Chinese space station and surf it all the way back down in her skivvies. -

Can't they do that remotely now? I could have sworn they have before. -
I thought so. Then right away clone that folder as a spare.

A Merlin is a bird of prey? i thought it was a mystical bearded old guy who handed out special swords and lives backwards thru time? -
Well, since no one else has updated... RocketLabs' Twitter is quite active. Picking the relevant bits out, they're currently pouring over the excellent data they received. The rocket did not make orbit, something happened with the upper stage after fairing separation. No word yet as to what, but they're hoping for another test flight in a few months, possibly with a real payload. And also, they're hiring. Everything I've seen thus far indicates that the first stage flight was spot-on, and "no one" seems the least bit concerned about the spinning, so maybe it is intentional. *shrugs*

Um... something seems off here... ...maybe it's the fact that she's standing next to four UN-shielded nuclear reactors and not glowing... -
Ok I'm a bit confused here going thru the Github... What's the latest good release for KSP 1.2.2, and does it including the recoloring stuff?

OK serious question time: This, IIRC, the second time they've shipped mice up on a Dragon. So... how much "life support" capacity does the current Dragon have? Obviously it's enough to keep mice alive up & down for a few days. If a person managed to sneak aboard, would they survive the trip? -

BDBDBD.... This guy was one of their first hires back in the early days. -
Try deploying your chutes in stages. Deogues and mains, different altitudes, different sides. Start them as high as possible to slowly flip the ship without worrying about actually slowing it yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if not all of the current crop of boosters get reflown at all, since there's another upgrade on the way to make reuse easier (what is it, the F9D? Epison? 3.14159? What's the epithet this week?). IIRC there's like six, most will probably end up as testbeds till they fail if the next gen is that much easier to rotate. -
Year 5, day 233... Actual construction of the new space station began in earnest, today. Once more, Triti and Ferdlin took to the skies in a--DUCK!!! Where'd everybody go?

Nope, log just kinda stops. I got a slightly older one running right now. I have a hunch it's related to QuickExit, or maybe exiting at all. *knock on wood* saves at the Space Center scene seem to work...

Actually, it appears I may have bigger problems. After everything seem to be working fine again last night, now my saves are refusing to finish loading again.

I was thinking the same, actually. What I was trying to do was a quick, simple fix for a single contract that wouldn't send my growing number of extra-Gaelar orbiters and landers off to the far-flung reaches of the solar system. I already lost all my Rald stuff to Grannus.

Ice Station Zebra. I'm totally re-stealing that. Now back to pointedly ignoring the rest of this thread. Because spoilers. -

Hmm. Ballistic missiles with sub-ten-meter accuracy, and now this thing, that looks like a flarping turbolaser battery. Is Elon Musk building a space program... or his own private army... I expect battle droids any day now. -
Sigh. Well that did not work. Many many thanks for the assist @JadeOfMaar & @Galileo, but something weren't right and my game wouldn't load at all after changing the numbers. Yay for built-in backup multisave system. So flarp that scat for a box of bananas, I'll just cheat the contract finished. I know weather I orbited the right plernert or not, dagnabbut!

OK... slowly wrapping my brain around this... Found the relevant lines in the CS config, but how do I "translate" them into the "other" number set (that is, Gael=1, but also 60?) EDIT: Also... I don't actually see Gael in the list? Will pick thru MM cache in the meanwhile...

Take the SpaceX thing a bit farther and park a boat out in the ocean? I forget, are you stock or RSS?

Out of likes as usual. Serious question: what's that thingamabob that goes up inside the S2 MVAC? Is that what's actually supporting the second stage structure?
