  1. Hmm, seemed bigger. What about that OKTO (HECS?) with the window on the side? I don't know why I'm even asking. My game is already so over-modded it's pushing 12 gig and crashing at every scene change.

  6. I think he's referring to a kind of high-inclination, highly eccentric orbit named for the Soviet Comsat of the same name. Sort of a poor man's geostationary orbit with better polar coverage.

  8. @Galileo Yup, can confirm, deleting the pink textures fixed the issue. Also, I notice Rald isn't quite where I left it. IIRC you changed something with when the game "starts" that might move stuff, was anything changed that would affect orbits as well?

  13. I've only just scratched the surface with it, but it does appear to work. It did make the new RD180 crazy powerful, TWR on my current lifter went from 1.5 to well over 3.wow. I may have to scale it back. naaaaah

  15. QFT. Especially with the forced inclination of launching away from the equator, I can't recommend MJ's porkchop transfer planner enough for planning interplanetary flights. Otherwise it's a lot of math and plain ol' trial and error. Which is cool, if you're, y'know, into that sort of thing. Is this the kind of thing that would show up in the MM cache? Like the other guy, I'm 90% sure I wiped everything. But it's like 8000 patches, so...
  16. Hmm. KSP really needs an infinite improbability drive. Get anywhere in the system in the blink of an eye, but you might end up as Donald Trump's hairpiece.

  20. Short answer: no. But there is a config out there that rebalances it for 6.4x play. Might be useful for 10x too. I'll see if I can find the page, my (limited) testing shows a huge improvement using it.
  21. Hmm, nope. Will try that next. CKAN ok for those now? Noted. Will try that second. As I expect things to go very very wrong and buggy but "asdf" gets repetitive, vessel names in my test saves tend to be a bit... juvenile.
