I present the Valkon Planes from builder BeefTenderloin! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Just finished the Valkron series of aircraft - The Valkron and Sea Valkron Valkron http://www./view/m2viwd2q90uhmzg/Valkron.craft The Valkron is a stable, single-engined jet, with decent stock range (it can go to the continent to the east of booster bay and back.) It's stable, maneuverable, and features tilted leading wing edges that allow for shorter take off distance. Sea Valkron http://www./view/vx0kmupqn3v4hx6/Sea_Valkron.craft The Sea Valkron is a modified version of the Valkron that can perform both water and runway landings. It is slightly slower, and less maneuverable than the Valkron, due to the large flotation devices slung underneath the fuselage. For water landings, the following process should be followed. 1) Cut engine power. 2) Begin to glide, holding a nose-up position. 3) Let your speed drop to at least 50m/s. 4) Level out, and try to hit the water with minimal downwards velocity. 5) Hold position upon impact, and once you begin to decelerate, allow the craft to tip backwards. Do not let it tip forwards. For takeoffs, simply throttle up to max and hold pitch up. Hope these are satisfactory! But wait! Hold the dang phone! For the low low price of only £9999.99 you can get not just 2 valkons and sea valkons, but we will JUMBO size the second set!! Jumbo Valkon http://www./view/rxxs55h2uuuhwoc/Jumbo_Valkon.craft The Jumbo Valkon - For when flying three Valkons in close formation is just too difficult! The Jumbo Valkon features a 3-man cockpit, two engines (that's 100% more engines than the standard Valkon!) and tri-composite wings with a tilted leading edge. It features easy-2-go takeoff technology; if you just activate SAS and throttle up, the JV will lift up into the air with no control input. Jumbo Sea Valkon http://www./view/aa2l3l5oaago063/Jumbo_Sea_Valkon_wu.craft The Jumbo Sea Valkon is adapted in a similar way to the Sea Valkon, by having flotation devices mounted underneath, and a counterbalance added to the tail. As such, the landing process is similar. For takeoffs, throttle to max and hold pitch up. SEE BELOW for the rest. Note on the Jumbo Sea Valkon - Working on a new wing to remove the need for the rolling maneuver. EDIT: Released Updated the wings to the Jumbo Sea Valkon. Takeoff procedure is now hold pitch up until around 25m/s, quickly press pitch forward, then continue pressing pitch up. The craft should rise out of the water.

BluPlanet Bulk Release: 9-28-13 Edition

I see. That explains a lot. -
Today's releases! Crafts built by: Ace of spades First up, the C-4d plane, a high speed turbofan powered craft. Careful, it's very unstable and likes to fly out of control. Also, watch the engines. Second, the F-1056 craft. This plane is a twitchy high-speed jet that is agile. Overly agile. Next up, the Am-1 Transport. it carries 4? kerbals in the back. Another rover, the GK-1 is a small kerbal cart. Special Instructions: disable steering on back wheels and disable motors on front wheels. Finally, the HS-1 Plane. It's a modified C-4d with much more stability. Piper! The famous Wingless plane!
Kerbol Prime replied to iDan122's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Wait...if it doesn't have wings it isn't technically a plane is it? Nitpicking aside, its awesome! -

Never thought of this. I usually used radial attachment point things to make engine clusters, then stuck some girders/struts down the middle and put some structural panels as "fairings". This is way simpler.

Its the same for me. The new terrain actually doesn't cause more trouble...that is other than the loooong pause with SOI transfers.

Amazing. Love them all. I'm terrible at rover making myself, let alone these cars. -
suggestionish thing ( ksp companion app)
Kerbol Prime replied to briansun1's topic in KSP1 Discussion
A mobile craft builder isn't a bad idea, but I imagine there are quite a few difficulties. It might become more sensible in the future. -
The hardest thing in KSP for me is....
Kerbol Prime replied to Dimetime35c's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Powered landings...I usually slam into the ground at 200 m/s. -
CEO Note: Isn't it great when your employee makes a showcase for you instead of you having to type every...single...letter? It's the little things.

Is Kerbal Safety a Top Priority For You?
Kerbol Prime replied to TheHockeyPlayer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Here's my form of safety: Parachutes "Who needs them LES doohickys when ya got chutes? They totally idiotproof!" -Association Director, shortly before 3 pilots died when the rocket fell back on the pad and chutes failed to open. -

Flying drone without fuel
Kerbol Prime replied to stardog573's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Its like a heli! Ahh KSP physics...I mean bugs. -
I don't "hate" it but sometimes lag is annoying. It's mainly the terrain (unholy laggalicious water!!!!). Other than that don't really dislike things. Oh wait there's also the long load times between Editor, Space Center, etc. Especially transitions to into Munar SOI. I guess I can't blame SQUAD, its an alpha after all. We also have unity restricitions.
