  1. Don't know about you guys, but after my most recent break of a year or so, I'm really missing some of the great mods from back in the "day". Kinda miss Bobcats stuff, although I don't miss his time schedule or lack of consistency. With so many great models, packs, code and awesome plugins, I'm curious if a small group of senior "type" moders, wouldn't be interested in going back and digging up some of the lost. Like I said, so many great models with Hundreds and Hundreds of hours of build and creation time, it just seems like a waist to let them all just rot away. Delta_8930 is going to patch up the Horizon Aeronautics Zenit, and Alexustas is getting back at the greatest IVA systems Kerbal's have ever seen. Back right before Dragon01 got his ass booted, he and Paul were going to re-release a bunch of new Bobcat stuff, don't know if any of it ever came to fruition, but maybe some one can have more luck at getting Paul to respond to his YouTube channel, with a request to release some of his content out of private to public. Would like to see Quantum Struts up again, even though they are a complete Fantasy item, they are an incredible help if used "responsibly"..... lol I know most of you guys are busy, and most of us understand this and don't ask for updates out or respect, but letting complete finished, "Great" mods go to waist seems kinda sinful. Trust me, if I knew what I was doing, I wouldn't be making this thread. I even stopped by my local community College to see if they had classes that would help me learn just that, to create and or update mods for KSP. I'm not young by any stretch, but I know I could learn a great deal of this stuff, in a couple terms, but I live in an honest to God..... "One horse town" No courses for Dren. Most of this stuff was done very well. Most of us miss their Rovers, at least I know I do. Well anywho, just thought I would throw that out to see if anyone agreed with me. BTW: I don't know [redacted] when it comes to Modeling, code or anything else important or of use, but if any modders need help doing the monotonous work, would be glad to help in any way that I can.   3. Been reading the small debate on the pods having a cryo option. I'm going to make mine simple, you get into Pod as the only option you have left. The pod should have the power and cryo fluid to initiate the freeze. The ONLY reason for unfreezing is you have been rescued, or you have made it to a body safely and you are going to be "rescued" or that body has life support supplies/base. I for one like the idea that the only way for unfreeze is a complete rescue and can not be self initiated. Would like one of the pod types to have integrated Mono engine for the purpose of re-entry type of Escape pod choice, but not for any pod to have both. But the idea of remote operation from the rescue crew sounds like a possible option. Having three different escape pod choices gives us all a really cool and hard choice for what Pod to bring along on the trip. Would like this to be done soon though, as its the only way I can achieve my "Base is blowing to excrements" scenario. At least the only way, with using this great mod, that will be replacing all other escape type equipment/scenarios. Thx, great work.
  4. I have a few old complete versions, if you need anything. Cripp and I have worked on it a few times. Stubbs has returned a few messages, but hes usually pretty busy, has done work on projects like GTA5 and a few others I cant recall right now. Super guy, great modeler. If anyone knows of a working version of some better looking struts, would like a link. The KOSMOS ones were one of my favorites, but I cant get them to attach correctly for some reason. Hell I would love to finally get a message back from Bobcat, to get a few of his up again. I still like his rovers, as well as his Buran. But that hasn't flown correctly for quite a few versions.

  9. Thx Denny, a lot of us wanted something that looked more authentic, less Kerbal I DARE say. Dude I honestly don't think you get enough kudos around here. But your models are with out doubt some of the best here. Thx for sticking around and making mine, as well as many others, that much better of an experience.
  10. Anyone out in community space wanna take on getting this one up and running again? No one could possibly not like Stubbles job and mod pack here. Its so well done, its a shame to see it just float away.

Hey Stubbles, its been a while.  Look man, I know it may not be on "any" list you have currently, but I always used your launcher.  So many great modders have left that it would really be great if you could get your Aero pack back up and running.  Its way to damn good to not have and there isn't many good ones left functioning.

  13. Sorry about this question Raider, but their is so much confusing info on the OP screen I cant tell what dependencies I need or don't need. I want all of your Mods in my Main game, and am currently looking for KOSMOS. Could you pm me or something with a link or at least a bare bones.... YOU NEED THIS: Maybe clean out all the mess that is the title page with a quick re-write for us dumbass old loveers. Thx Dren
  14. Yeah as he stated above it doesn't have the best working condition. Fairings are a no go right now as well. But thx, loves the SpaceX packs. Never understood why more people dont like them. They are a perfect addition to any ones Go To Launchers. BTW: would anyone be willing to fix the Fairings, I would like to use this as a secondary launcher so the other issues are not a bother. I have tried to alter the cfg with the fairing decoupler line, but I really don't have enough skillz to figure this stuff out.
  15. Hey Hraban, thx for a calm respectful reply with out a rant about me asking for craft files. The planned manual with craft files sounds good indeed, glad to see you guys doing such a great job.
  16. Glad to see all these new modders in the community. I know your all busy, but most of these packs are complicated enough it really would be good to get craft files. If you can Mod these, then the time it would take for a few craft files shouldn't be to much.
  17. Dont redo it yet. Until the Squad Team can FINALLY get a finished game, with less bugs than an African ant colony, please wait. To many great Modders have bailed out and at some point, the few of us from the old days still want to play a finished game with the great mods you guys make.
  18. Since .90 the quality control has been slowly slipping from our Squad Leaders. Sure do miss the old days. Thx guys for attempting to maintain these great mods.
  19. Hope your doing well, would hate to see you stop working and advancing your mods.  I am looking forward to your lander parts exc.  I use all of your mods and cant see my Game Data file without them.  Thanks for all your hard work man.

  20. Just a quick recommendation, because other than testing and cfg writes, I have nothing to bring. At some point, find someone that is interested in, as well as being good at, the PR side of handling a really good mod like Kerbal Foundries. It helps to take the load off the Plugin, Modeling/Texture exc people. Finding someone capable and willing(Rare Combination)to handle all the PR work, would keep the others from getting burned out due to dealing with the public. If at any point I can help with testing, pm me. Wish I had more to offer, I love this Mod, have since .18! Might even be a bit before that. Thanks lo-fi, hope to see you back after 1.1

  22. Anyone know of a conflict that would stop the "Eject" function from working? I'm running 64 bit so this cant be a complaint or bug report. I can launch a craft but as soon as I reload or bounce from space center then back to craft, the "Eject" function only drops, kinda like just releasing instead of any eject force. Thx if any one is aware. If not I do apologize for asking while using the 64 bit launcher.
  23. Just curious why you have not included the DeepFreeze parts that the guys created for your Mod? I mean if the Models are finished, and the cfg's are done, why haven't you updated to include them? Sorry if I'm missing something.
  24. Would love to see the Ladder Hatch assembly placed on the crew module sections. I second the need for a few additional accessory beds and tanks. But you have always made some of the most impressive Models that must take a good deal of time, so I wont hold my breath. This has replaced the Bobcat rovers for me. Would pull them out of the GameData file if they had the extra accessory modules. But I'm sure your not going to hold your breath waiting for me to do so. Thx man, always appreciate a great Mod creator, some sacrifice to put out tons of mods with low quality, yours always hit the mark for exceptional.
