  1. It's ok not to when you're in the lighter range of ships because they're more about a good hit then dying than a sustained slugging match. Wings weigh a third plates so a big ship doesn't notice .1 tons over .3 as much as a small one.
  2. Try to make everything from parts with 80m/s tolerance.
  3. I'm putting out videos right now but I want to stick to a schedule so it's just the basics, which I believe you're fine with, and weapon design which you act confident in but a 29 ton missile is all of your eggs in the one basket. So I'll just go over in case you don't want to wait a week. -Make some sacrifices for aesthetic. Find a style for your ships and don't be afraid to break out of it. -Build small and numerous. 250 ton ships are rare for a reason. They're the edge of practical. -Have docking ports. It may get a few bits stolen but you can save a ship.
  4. I have a super freighter. You'll have to the repair sections yourself. 3km/s while carrying 500 tons ok?
  5. You want some? I'm just handing off to all sides.
  6. Really like Zekes' different approach to reconnaissance. And it's not much more expensive than the way I go about it.
  7. EX-9s are 40 tons. I set a limit at 15 because of stuff like this. Or do you mean the 12 or 11?
  8. Try sharing with another member of your team. And if you'd rather I can get you all to pick a number between 1 and 5 for randomness.
  9. Try hollowing out a battle cruiser.
  10. Not the first, but the first with more than 3 people.
  11. Doesn't work that way, that's a one way ticket to userban. The rules on roleplay are strict so just be careful with the wording.
  12. Yea, it'd just be good for attention. People don't often go to forum games looking for KSP. @DarkOwl57 It's been half an hour, for the last time team or I swear to god I will beat you the one time required for you to be at the bottom of the table.
  13. I understand and appreciate that but I'm not reporting my own thread for something so strictly regulated such as roleplay when some people use the word peace as shorthand for not working against each other. I'm shooting this line of thinking down before it evolves into roleplay. No they don't. They say teams for when there's more than one person per side and players when referring to an individual.
  14. Not War, Battle. Not Truce, just not truce. Nor Peace. You can work together but at the end of the day, if there's more than one of you left nobody's getting the maximum points. You are players, not nations. Don't forget that.
  15. So apparently there is a discord demand. https://discord.gg/MDhB35Q
  16. I guess. I've never encountered something I couldn't do anyway. Unless you're planning some kind of floaty forerunner ship.
  17. Thuds have a high gimbal range, Aerospikes have none.
  18. Thuds have a short profile and they aren't terrible anymore. Hinding the engines in cargo bays is good too.
  19. Yea, but I've got like 5 and a half fleets. What do you need. Narrow it down for me.
  20. Not everyone has Dreadnoughts. EDIT: I just remembered you said being under gave advantage.
