ah, okay, well, i guess you should try and see if you can get a few aligned so you can do flyby's, but if we're including moons it may add to the total if you happen to encounter one of the planets moons (unless said planet is Moho, Dres, or Eeloo.) especially at Jool (coughTylocough) if you can get lucky you can encounter a few of Jool's moons. you can also just fire the probe off into a solar orbit and wait, maybe an orbit going below Moho's and around Eeloo's orbit, eventually youll get an encounter with something, and as long as you dont crash into whatever it is your encountering youll encounter another, then another, and another, until you hit something or quit the game

I had an idea of starting a thread where we can share things we've learned from playing the game, like launch windows, tips for landing on planets/moons, what to do if Jeb tears off the goo container on your ship, or the life support is rolling away... It can also be a random fact or thing you've noticed in the game. Rules: Try not to post something that's already been shared. This thread is ment so we can share fun facts we find or any tricks that help in tricky situations, try not to derail it, please. Ill start by pointing out that if you install Kerbal Alarm Clock and start a new save and set an alarm for a moho transfer window, youll see that a moho transfer window occurs just four days into every save. Come and share!

to visit ALL the planets? id say impossible, i mean, an error of .5 m/s at kerbin makes a difference at jool the size of laythes orbit, so youd have to be pretty much DEAD ON, and even then itd be iffy, because the planets would have to be aligned perfectly (which probably would take 10000 years of timewarping to find) plus with the floating point errors would mess your trajectory up, so i dont think its possible without course corrections. +1 rep for cool replica though

asuming the sun didnt go kapoof in a few billion years, eventually the moon would reach the height where through rising and slowing earths rotation, it both will be tidally locked, and it would stay there, also, tides are caused by the moon, they dont keep the moon in orbit but the sun will be long gone by then, if not earth in general.

ive discovered that large ship miners are alot better then small ship ones, i converted a yellow respawn ship into a miner on the asteroid base world, and when i mine with it i get tons of ore from not alot of mining, i might need to build like 20 more refineries to keep up. however, i did this also on the respawn ship world and after building a platform and stuff i was mining and the ship suddenly got grabbed by phantom forces causing it to rotate in the short tunnel it had made so far, pieces kept blowing up untill it was a mess of a skeleton of its former glory, i managed to make a new small miner though.

nope, barely been outside kerbins soi before except for a few asteroids. the user below me overbuilds 99% of their rockets.

ive had random star textures suround kerbin before, but never had an actual star coded in be poofed to kerbin, it even had Barry and its moon still orbiting it. and i didnt touch its cfg, since its a stock pf body and isnt in my pack.

you can probably use KAS to attach struts, the second part youd probably be creating a kraken drive with an asteroid...
