  1. It’s been a lot of fun here.

    Don't pet the sweaty things.

  2. No complaints here. Had the pleasure of meeting some good people here, hosted a few challenges and a tournament. Managed to keep my nose somewhat clean (yeah I’m not perfect). It is a disappointment that that KSP ended the way it did. I had high hopes for KSP2 and built one hell of a computer to run it. C’est la vieve. Life will go on. To any of you that I’ve interacted with, it’s been a pleasure……even the stinky Mods here! Keep your wheels to the ground and fly right.
  3. From my experience with ALS/Dementia with my grandmother, it could be twice, three times a day he saw her, turned around to get help, but forgot that quickly. He might have sensed that something is wrong with the house, but that's about it.
  4. I’ve been floating around since KSP 0.19. For the most part it’s been pretty fun. I admit the KSP challenges have been my favourite part of the forum, especially the BDA tournaments. As far as KSP is concerned, it’s currently on the back burner for right now. Real life has me busier than hell, and I might get on my computer once a week, and it’s usually financial stuff. I wish KSP2 had a stronger foothold and part of me regrets not purchasing it especially after building a dedicated computer for gaming. I felt it had potential for being a stellar game but sadly several issues got on the way. As far as the people here, I can honestly say 99.9% of my interactions have been positive. Hopefully others can say the same for me.
  5. Well yeah……and weird at the same time (Gene’s wife and dog). Makes you think “Hmmmm….”.
  6. Everybody still alive and well?

  7. Took the plunge and picked up a i7-13700K processor that was on sale for $200 off normal price. It's certainly has more OOMPH than the i3-13100 I had before, but that processor handled KSP1 like a champ, so no bad opinions about it. For a good general purpose computer the i3's in either the 13th gen or 14th gen are more than fine for that. The i7 can take advantage of faster RAM speeds, so that's a plus. My cooler seems to be handling the extra load well enough.
  8. Ahh yes I forgot about that. Our Thanksgiving is in mid October so we get a little bit more than two months of no Turkey days.
  9. BBQ this year. Turkey and Duck. The neighbours hate me because it smells better than their dinner!
  10. Same here on the moderation. I go thru a 6-er of beer about once a year. Wine is so far one bottle a year.
  11. Thanks, but I think the family can do without my “singing” voice. Wine for me. I love beer but I can only have one or two (issues with hops. Mildly allergic I think) and good cognac is bloody expensive.
