  1. I use TAC LS, but I hardly use any of the TAC LS parts; mostly, I use Universal Storage parts for my life support needs. Oh, and there's at least one reskin of the TACLS parts out there, if you prefer that.
  2. And once you are feeling confident about your understanding of RemoteTech, take a look at the RangeModelType setting; I strongly suggest the use of the Root range model for a little more realism.
  3. No worries. If I was annoyed about responding, I would have told you how many times it has been brought up.
  4. Regarding all the camera comments, you'll note that it's been discussed...and discussed. Yes, we all want it. No, it's not easy. In fact, it's hard. Also, it might be easier when KSP goes to Unity 5. It will certainly be different. For these reasons, it's not happening for now, AFAIK.
  5. If you want help with the problem you are experiencing, I'd suggest: 1) make sure you are installing FAR manually (not via CKAN) 2) Follow the instructions listed here to get the information folks will need to help you with your problem.
  6. This is true with the Standard range model. It sounds like you want the Root range model, which lets you reach out further to a weak antenna when you're connecting to a stronger antenna. You will have to edit the settings file. See the entries for RangeModelType and RangeMultiplier, and if you choose the suggested RangeMultiplier=0.5, then you'll also want to look at the table at the bottom of the page.
  7. I think what you are requesting is called a ground track.
  8. I like. I think leaving the new functionality off by default is quite nice.
  9. AFAIK, if you fill your Waste, Waste Water, or CO2 storage, then the excess just disappears. Personally, I like to have enough storage, but it's not necessary.
  10. It seems that various mods expose it, but it appears to be occurring in stock heating. Interestingly, before the new stock heating system was added, Deadly Reentry encountered a similar issue with some mod parts. IIRC, Starwaster had a workaround of raising the thermal mass of affected parts.
  11. If it's the interstage adapter, that's the way it works. Once you install the fairings, they will support the craft above the fairings, connected at that top attachment node.
  12. I suspect any attempt to assist you with this issue will require more information, such as the information described here. Clearly, you have a number of mods, so that info will be pretty important to any attempt to analyze your problem.
  13. Wasn't there something about MFI 1.1 not being backwards compatible for mods expecting 1.0, thus leading to the release of 1.1.1, which is supposed to be backwards compatible?
  14. Yes, there is a known conflict between the version of MFI used in Deadly Reentry v7.2.0 and Ferram Aerospace Research v0.15.3.1. The solution is to download and use Deadly Reentry version 7.2.1, which does not use MFI. You should be safe to use the version of MFI which comes with FAR.
  15. This is just a shot in the dark, but what does a ship with the warp drive look like when you make FAR voxelization visible? - - - Updated - - - Dang, ninja'd. At least I was right!
  16. I was all set to be worried about what this would do to someone with a Space-X Crew Dragon, with its built-in escape rockets. Then I realized: that would be a mod part. Let the mod author include a CLS config!
  17. Search your GameData folder, TrooperCooper. You know it to be true!
  18. @smjjames: I've seen mention of a bug involving cloning Kerbals which seems to appear for a few people with several different mods (KIS or KAS was one, IIRC). I am wondering if there's some new stock bug that gets exposed by some mod behavior.
  19. That sounds great to me. I think it's a good way to make it work, without being too aggressive. Using bulkhead profile with a default of impassable is a good filter - after all, the bulkhead profile identifies both a size and a shape that at least might be passable.
  20. The cupola definitely has snack storage capacity, it just defaults to no snacks in storage.
  21. Ugh. Yeah, that's not ideal. Off the cuff, I guess if it's surface attached and it doesn't have any other attachment nodes, then it probably never needs to be passable? My Module-Manager-fu is weak, so I don't have a good filter rule for you.
  22. I like the idea of being able to edit parts in the VAB and enabling CLS - but I think there needs to be something like an overall on/off toggle, so that if CLS is not currently enabled on a part, then you only see one toggle. Then if it's using CLS (either by default, or through user modification in VAB), then you get all the different buttons.
