  1. The creeping darkness that lives at the heart of Jool.
  2. That looks good, but it looks like he is asking for water.
  3. I'm not a fan of gaming laptops, but that does seem to be a good deal for the amount of power it has.
  4. You could always lower the physic calculations in the settings.cfg file. I have it set to .0009 at the moment, while getting a small bump in frames, I haven't noticed anything breaking physics yet.
  5. They are Smurfs. The blue ones went the way of magic, the green ones when the way of technology.
  6. I like this. Most space related toys do not feature female astronauts. So this is a must buy for my daughter.
  7. Seeing that picture makes me want to see Buzz Aldrin play KSP.
  8. Also, I remember that I launched the living module for my Mun base on my Saturn V mockup with strapped on SRBs.
  9. Both! I have a Eve flyby planned but I'm just waiting on the launch window. Payload for Apollo/Eve
  10. Haven't made a Mun base since .19. Got a good start going here. The Duke Boys survived to ride again...the General Lee not so much.
  11. ....Wait I can use this to make a Smurf Space Program?
  12. Bob hit his head so hard when I crashed the rover, that he is considered nothing more then rover debris.
  13. What I believe the OP (and a lot of others) want is a more precise control over maneuver nodes. While Squad chose a more organic way as someone put it earlier in the thread, some want something a little more....numbery.
  14. "Spaceflight will never tolerate carelessness, incapacity, and neglect. Somewhere, somehow, we screwed up. It could have been in design, build, or test. Whatever it was, we should have caught it. We were too gung ho about the schedule and we locked out all of the problems we saw each day in our work. Every element of the program was in trouble and so were we. The simulators were not working, Mission Control was behind in virtually every area, and the flight and test procedures changed daily. Nothing we did had any shelf life. Not one of us stood up and said, 'Dammit, stop!' I don't know what Thompson's committee will find as the cause, but I know what I find. We are the cause! We were not ready! We did not do our job. We were rolling the dice, hoping that things would come together by launch day, when in our hearts we knew it would take a miracle. We were pushing the schedule and betting that the Cape would slip before we did. From this day forward, Flight Control will be known by two words: 'Tough' and 'Competent.' Tough means we are forever accountable for what we do or what we fail to do. We will never again compromise our responsibilities. Every time we walk into Mission Control we will know what we stand for. Competent means we will never take anything for granted. We will never be found short in our knowledge and in our skills. Mission Control will be perfect. When you leave this meeting today you will go to your office and the first thing you will do there is to write 'Tough and Competent' on your blackboards. It will never be erased. Each day when you enter the room these words will remind you of the price paid by Grissom, White, and Chaffee. These words are the price of admission to the ranks of Mission Control." Gene Kranz All one needs to remember if you wish to save Kermen lives.
  15. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agena_target_vehicle Set one of these up and practice, practice and practice. Or you could always try ORDA. Its magical computer will automatically bring you into 80m of your docking target. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/36379-Plugin-Parts-0-21-0-Orbital-Rendezvous-and-Docking-Assistant-(ORDA)-v1-0-8-1?highlight=ORDA
  16. I miss my favorite landing site. I'm sure the kerbalnauts wish to pray to something after making it back home.
  17. Kerbal's don't believe in putting flame decals on their planes. They just catch the things on fire!
