I was thinking of writing a story about a base on a planet in KSP, but I dont know where to put the base, Duna? Not Laythe, as everyone goes there, maybe the Mun? Vall? Please help me!

No I didn't, but the 'Prometheus' (I've hacked 3 into orbit around kerb in ready for colonisation of Laythe) is in a equatorial orbit. Before the purists start complaining, I use kethane to refuel them from my planatery bases and send back to kerbin for interplanetary trips... I have 4 orbiting kerbin and other planets, the 'Prometheus' the 'Endeavour' the 'Churchill' and the 'Queen Elizabeth 3' Like I said, this is a concept and I hope to make it no cheats, but to make up for the fact I hacked it into orbit I've made it fully sustainable and reusable. For example, the 'Prometheus' is on its way back to kerbin now...

The target island! Thank god.. Our brave pilot Jool rise over the landing site ONLY 160 PARTS WITH LANDERS!

Recently I was trying to make an Interplanetary Mothership, and this is what I came up with, I hyperedited into orbit because when I docked all the modules it just started falling apart, and I wanted to reduce the part count, but If someone comes up with a good launcher stage, I'm all ears! Right now, this is just a concept, but I hope to finish it. Currently, I've got it to Duna and the Jool System, as well as Gilly the Mun and Minmus, it comes with 2 Olympia Class Landers MkII, and the best ting of all? ITS ONLY 160 PARTS (with 2 landers attached)! I flew the ship to Laythe without any cheats or mods, just Crew Manifest. Pictures: Executing interplanetary burn!
