  1. I've landed some probes on Moho, I got them in LKO legit, but I have one huge Interplanetary mission going on so I cheated them into LMO, results: Probe 1: 02.64m/s^2 Probe 2: 02.62m/s^2 Probe 3: 02.64m/s^2 Probe 4: 02.65m/s^2 Average of 02.64 obvs
  2. I like the Idea of using the struts as landing gear, good shock absorbers. \
  3. Well done Mulbin. Ruined another Indie post. Nah, I'm kidding I love dat lander... AND DEM FLAGZ
  4. Really nice, always loved the Avro
  5. I just change the Atomic Engines Thrust to 115, thats all I change. I just get bored of doing bloody burns.
  6. Sorry I haven't done much, I have a lot of tests at school :/ Anyway, since I have a colony on Laythe, I decided to do a little experimentation.... Here are my results (45 metres above sea level): Atmospheric Pressure: 80.3 kPa Atmospheric Height: 55000m Average Temp: -22.12 C (At my height mind you) Gravity: 7.85 m/s And, my most proud acheivement, when I should have been revising for maths ... Laythes Surface Area: 3.1415927 km
  7. Cheers, but I actually meant Brotoros Laythe SSTO. The second one with a hitchiker
  8. Could you put the craft file for the Laythe SSTO but the one with the large tank of fuel?
  9. Very cool! I will definitely be using it to locate a good area for a base! Thanks for sharing man
  10. The Ministry of Space would like to join this venture!
  11. Like jets and switch over to rocket, can it be launched from the VAB, be drone controlled and carry 4 kerbals, in a hitchhiker. RCS and docking. Cheers!
  12. Can you make me an SSTO Rocket Shuttle for my space station in LKO?
  13. No, I just think it would be awesome if you made screenshots to act out the story... Sounding good!
  14. PROLOGUE Hey guys! I was inspired by the long term Laythe base mission, so my Kerbals decided to have there own version of it, and, as my space ministry is basically the KAF (Koyal Air Force) they decided it was going to be a military base. This prologue is basically the ships on the launchpad and getting into orbit. Next chapter will be the actual beggining of the story. Hope you enjoy it! This is the Laythe space station that all of the space tugs will dock to after they have delivered they're load. I was going to go for Greek mythology, as thats what I normally do for my Space Stations, Olympus etc. But, as this is a 'British' expedition, I decided to go with a great British hero, such as Hillary, Churchill or whoever. But, as I normally name my Kerbin station Churchill or Olympus, I decided to go with Sir Walter Raleigh, so its name is Raleigh Refueling Station. Also, those Comms dishes are configured to work with kethane as kethane scanners (just in case). And heres the bad boy in LKO without the Tug attached. It serves its purpose well, and if it gets broken or I'm bored of it, I'll send a new one to Laythe and de-orbit it Heres my IP Tug, its pretty standard, two NERVA's, RCS, Solar Panels... It can get to Laythe and back, pretty damn good... The pride and joy of my fleet! The Supermarine Skipper! It has rover wheels, solar panels, can refuel and has the KAF symbols on it! I decided not to include missiles, I mean, whats the worst that could happen..? The skipper in orbit. There are 3 other ships, but they're just hab modules and the comms centre.
  15. You could do a pass the save file thing, I'm willing to do that with someone
  16. I might do Laythe, but like a top secret British Military Compound and It gets attacked by like Nazis or something from another one if Jools Moons.
