  1. I use the KSO Main tank and boosters on my other "Shuttle-like" Craft, I just use a surface attack node thingy and attach it onto the side (bottom) of my craft. Then I just hook up the large main tank, add the boosters and test to see if I have to use a fuel line or not with my design. Sometimes I can get away without adding one on it, but most times I need one. I've also used the boosters for other rockets, I enjoy the ability to chain link them with fuel lines and only drop a pair at a time once they all pull from the top most tank in the fuel line chain. I've been experimenting with trying to use the main tank in the rocket design but I've yet to find a good one. I Really like the work on this mod, and hope that it keeps going, Maybe even having a few large cargo hold pieces for both shuttles that are longer than what is already out/planned, As with maybe other pieces that can be placed between the cabin and the cargo-hold, or the cargo-hold and the engine mount. Something to make this Shuttle system a bit more adjustable. Damaske

  3. Ah ok, I understand the so much you can work on at once bit, I look forward to the new type of fuselage. Maybe you can expand into the MK III fuselage some? Since the last one that worked on it left due tot he shutdown of Spaceport and refuses to hoist up his mods anymore last I knew. I have not heard if something changes his thoughts on the matter. I do hope that he has not given up, but that's another topic and i don't want to sidetrack the thread with something else. I really LOVE your work that has gone into this and look forward to more goodies that you have planed for us all, and thrilled that your interested in doing an new type of fuselage. If I was able to help in any matter I'd offer it but I am very limited in my modding skillage. But I have been monkeying around in the code with a few adjustments to things in the config files so far. I've been thinking of maybe trying my hand at some models But I can not texture to save me wife, er life. As I found out during the mods I attempted for Freelancer, and homeword (all three games).   4. PorkJet, I have a really big question to ask from you. Can you make Larger in height cargo bays? I was attempting to use your mod to lift some station parts from the KSO mod as I like that mods station pieces looks, But they clipped though both the top and bottom of the current cargo bays. I believe the KSO parts are 1.5 meter in size or very close to that. If this is not a planed feature then I'd be sad and find another way to use the KSO station parts or something. Also look forward to the new parts that you posted WIP pics of I and a huge SR-71 fan and sad that they are no longer flying... Just like the poor ole F-4's except they are not turned into RC controlled drones for weapons testing like the ole F-4's were. The Masked Guy Aka Damaske
  5. Would you be able to have a long range pulsed seeker and then a shorter ranged one for closer? The long range finds it fires and then smaller once seeks it in once it is closer. Not sure if that would lag it out more or not.
  6. 500meters guard mode is way to short thanks to the longer ranged weapons a plane has. The gun starts to for just outside 1km why not the missile? Besides within 1km the defending craft is most likely killed from the attacking planes missiles.
  7. I have grown a liking for the Luck Laster Labs mod parts, Are they allowed to be used for the basic shape of the launch craft but use one of the listed mod, or stock engines for its lift. I know some of the LLL Engines are op and don't like to use them unless making something massive, or screwing around. Also another question is Are we allowed to make a full rocket powered space plane, one that does not use air-breathing engines at all. It would increase the challenge of making a space plane more than the air-hogging designs of the past space planes. I'd also like to note, most if not all my Space planes that I have made in the past have one or two intakes per engine, Although my Midget Beta 1 SSTO was a clipping air-hog craft. I have moved away from doing so, and thus most my air breathing engines cut out before 20 km up, some i have to go to rocket power at 16 to 20km. Just a few questions and comments still deciding if I'd like to take a wack at this. If allowed to use LLL parts for this challenge will help me to decide. Damaske
  8. I had a shuttle design but when I moved to deorbit i went to quick save but instead quick loaded! I lost all the work I have done in the past oh few months ( duration unsure). Will redo mission asap and hopefuly this time I'll not quickload, as I have deleted the quickload.
  9. I use a modified engine from the Kerbal Shuttle Orbital system, they have a higher than normal gimble and use up to 14 degree trim to allow off center of mass thrust. I've also read/seen that Dtobi's Space shuttle engines work in the same manner since KSO uses his plugin. So a stiff adapter as you put it would work fine for the application that I wish to use it in.
  10. Ok kwel, I didn't mean replace it but make another one like it. I was thinking of a new triple 1.25 adapter to make a shuttle like craft with the large orange tank and outboard boosters like the old NASA Shuttle. It is possible with the Pants but would be nice to have the 3rd engine there. And maybe another that has 3 1.25m and 3 0.62m ( or the official smaller size) adapter for more shuttle like crafts. I look forward to the other parts as I do enjoy the Mk 2 parts you have, any progress on the IVA, or maybe showing of the kerbals that are flying it? It is kinda odd to fly without seeing there panic as you tumble out of control, or there excitement as you make it into orbit.
  11. maybe for now but an effect that shows the area is burning? I had no clue that there was a large area on fire.
  12. Porkjet, Can you redo the dual adapter into a triple adapter? Maybe some larger wings that we don't have to relay on "Procedural Dynamics - Procedural Wing" for a wide delta like shaped wing, or long straight wings pieces.

  14. I wonder if I am too close... And thanks to know will attempt to try it at larger ranges as I was relatively close to the target. I've found it is hard to aim at longer distances Is there a way to add in an viewport on the turret, that moves with the turret. But between the guns to help aim them better?? Edit: Ok I got outside 1km from target and I was safe. BUT when I tried to drive up and look at the damage with the rover it blows up once is get close. you Might need to look into how long the heat area of effect is lasting as yet again Once I got to within 700ish of the target I lost the wheels and then the rover itself blew up / took damage.
  15. What is with the dual 14inch cannons? I have hit another craft with them in rover mode and it blows up the craft hit and the one that fires is hit from the blast losing ALL wheels and the entire craft becomes yellow damaged. What is making that happen? I'm using this with Lack Luster Labs mods.
  16. How would one use the currently made files to make a rather large double track part? I've been working on a rather extra large rover to fit 3 of the dual 14 inch turrets from Skilled weapons mod. I'd like to use tracks on it but from what i have looked i've not sure how to make it happen.
  17. The wheels shown are the larger re-sized lack luster labs model, not sure if the rover wheels will work on it but I'm still developing the craft. The craft's base was a part that I remade for the use of the large dual 14 inch turrets. I might have to redesign the wheel system for it also But i feel the bugs will be burned away with fire and sorted soonâ„¢. May I at lest have KGLE's first impressions for the design of this fighting monster?

Land battleship online! 3: Dual 14 inch turrets 2: 5 inch turret 4: Phalanx defense turrets Design is meant to bomb at range with large turrets firing broadside at target, 5 inch cannons for close in anti-tank battles, and Phalanx defense turrets vrs light armor, and airplanes/missiles. Platform is not fully developed yet, motive system still in development. Motive system shown failed under driving tests.
  19. There is a personal tweakscale cfg in the tweakscale thread, I've been thinking of toying around with it myself, but I've not just yet. @Lack, Great to hear, and that looks awesome for the 747 parts as with hearing about the more wings bit. Look forward to more parts.
  20. I am all for the side cargo bays, and maybe while your making some side bays, perhaps a bomb bay? Also would you be able to make a larger delta wing like your SXT wing? I like how large it is, but the shape of it just tweaks me the wrong way. Not sure why but it does, I'll fiddle around with the lift coefficient if you want me too if you do make it. Fuel within the wing like the other is fine. Also Maybe a large straight wing piece and matching rear wing piece would be good too. I know I am asking a lot, but I am sure you will get to them sooner or later.

  22. MLRS Rover (Skilled weapon system) I first made this for Romfar's laser mod, but changed this over to use skilled's hence the (skilled) in the name of this rover. Rover is made from Lack Luster Labs, lights from Aviation Lights mod, Infernal Robotics for the rocket turrets, and Skilled weapon system and damage mod. Armed with 20 HE Zephyr rockets fired 2 at a time, the lander can atop the back and below the radar is were the loader stays except when he/she is reloading the rockets. Action keys 1-10 fire the twin linked rockets, lights are tied into the main light key. Stage aka space will turn on the power generators to provide power to this beast. And the servo control will move the turrets a full 360 degress around the craft to fire in all directions. I also have an airplane that I need to convert over from Romfar's mod and will post that here soonâ„¢. Also plan to make a wheeled tank, and possible some thing big huge and ugly!
  23. I do hope someone will pick it up and take off were you two have left off. I understand that life sometimes get in the way of things that you wish to do as it has happened to me also. Thanks for attempting to take over and fix it. And thanks for releasing the mod as is for others to try and get working.
  24. I thought it was the o-ring leaked, got burned up, that jet of fire then melted into the external tank and set off the fuel within once it melted though the tanks side.
  25. Can we use the main tank/boosters from KSO as long as the shuttle itself is not from the KSO.
