  1. I noticed it before, the 9/9 update, too. Restarting KSP fixed it for me and I haven't had it since.
  2. Moho is a pain in the a**. Getting slowed down for orbit is just such a dV hog. Never tried a live body, but I have a probe rover there now. The only planets I've put a live Kerbal on are Mun, Minmus, Duna and Dres. Never tried Eeloo, even with a probe, so I can't compare.
  3. I use, in no particular order: MechJeb (even if I didn't use Smart A.S.S. I would still use this or Kerbal Engineer for the info panes.)* Universe Replacer Chatterer (there's one file in there that sounds like the last word is 'schmuck'. I laugh every time I hear it.) MapSat Graphotron 2000 Kerbal Attachment System Lazor Cams (Haven't used the whole weapons package)* Lazor Arms (Canadarm and Buran arm not weapons ) KSPX (although most of this is stock now, I use it mainly for the half size RCS tank and the big nuke engine)* Procedural Fairings* Precise Node* Kerbal alarm Clock* Navigation Lights (too cool for dressing up your craft if you can spare the part count) Docking Struts* TAC Fuel Balancer* Ordan Industries Telescope Anything with a * is a must have IMHO.
  4. What concern is it of yours (or mine or anyone else's on this board for that matter) how someone else learns to play, or what they choose to learn or not to learn? Their time is their own and it's not yours to validate.
  5. Hmm. Sounds odd. Usually, when you enable the jetpack the kerbal just rights himself and is fairly stationary. You holding a key down or something?
  6. Yeah, a little more information would be helpful. I'm building this in Munar orbit, but the principle is the same, just some added complexity and dV: You can see a ****-ton of struts are necessary to get that much mass into orbit: Docking all that inertia can be challenging.
  7. Yeah, sorry. I forgot where I was for a minute.
  8. A petition? Really? Unbelievable. Also, SkyRender is right, from what I've read and seen. Anyone who thinks career mode is going to be some guided, restrictive, step-by-step process is going to be disappointed.
  9. Yes, please. I've almost destroyed a couple stations because the ship I undocked decided it needed to immediately be facing the other way on undock. When you get back from Japan, that is.
  10. It's hit-or-miss. I've hat it put me within a couple kilometers, other times I'm off by 50 like in your example.
  11. The big problem for me with life support mods is the lack of persistence. If you're not flying that particular ship, then the life support resources don't deplete. Plus, I don't really want to have to manage every conceivable aspect of a space flight. I don't play Dwarf Fortress, either.
  12. Digital vs. analog I suppose. I like the numbers. Plus, the view looks authentic as heck.
  13. It would be cool a couple times, but then I think it would get tedious. Meh, six of one half dozen of the other. Whatever floats yer boat.
  14. All my stations thank you profusely. Seconded. Or make it an option and make everyone happy. Except for those people who think their way is the only legitimate way to play. Can't make everyone happy I guess.
  15. This. I remapped HN to YH, but other than that, forget docking mode. Get either Lazor Docking Cam or Docking Port Alignment Indicator. Instrumentation is nice. I use Lazor Docking Cam.
  16. At least now we know where the kraken comes from:
