  1. This must be it. I generally don't stack tanks if I can help it, but this one's first stage is ginormous. 13 stacks of 4 X200-32's with a Mainsail on the end of each.
  2. Nope. I'll do that. The rocket seems unaffected by it, though.
  3. A loud bang not accompanied by parts flying off. I'll see if I can get a video of it tonight.
  4. Anyone else had a rocket "backfire" on them? I'm sure there must be more. It usually happens with heavy rockets, in my experience.
  5. Yeah I'm not worked up about it. They'll get to it when they get to it.
  6. I think it looks far too uniform, but I also think it's an improvement. I think if they put more variability in them then they have something.
  7. That's contrary to everything Kerbal engineering stands for.
  8. I'd do it manually, first. You could use MJ for the info panels, but I'd fly it all myself.
  9. I like to think that they reproduce by fission. Jeb went up by himself one day and came back with Bill and Bob.
  10. Docking is too much fun to let MJ do it for me, IMHO. I only use MJ for Smart A.S.S. and for the info panels, and Lazor Cams for it's docking cam. I watched a couple YouTube videos and got it the first time, and without MJ at all at that point in time. As lots of others have said, learning to dock will open up lots of other stuff for you.
  11. Not to hijack, but: female kerbal.
  12. Same here. I've been messing around with some design enhancements, but nothing major.
  13. We've never lost a Kerbal in space, we're sure as hell not gonna lose one on my watch! Failure is NOT an option. We've got to find a way to make this, fit into the hole for this, using nothing but that.
  14. Built this for a Dres mission, but you could use it almost anywhere with no atmosphere by adding some droptanks. A non-powered lander for dropping a rover on Duna. It even works!
  15. Not even close. I've got 1,000 hours in Guild Wars 2 alone. I've run through Mass Effect, Knights of the Old Republic, Skyrim, etc. far to many times for KSP to be able to compete at this point. Maybe someday, if it stays fresh with new content and mods.
  16. A lot of wisdom, there. I've borked missions too many times by doing both.
