Forgot they existed. Right now still don't have enough parts that it matters as tech 1 R&D does not have much. Do agree that the sub-assemblies should have its own tab. Because, I also forgot that it exists do to not seeing it. Out of sight out of mind.

I took a main sail engine down that could launch Kerbals up into orbit. -
Yeah. Probe part attached to the first command pod where the chute goes ejects the Kerbal from the EVA exit area. Great way to get some free Delta-Vs. But, yeah. One should always try to land closer first, have rover if capable next, and last but not least. Try to save as much EVA jetpack fuel as you can Just to make the return trip slightly faster. The last part can be difficult as you could over shoot and fall down a crater. Have had that happen more then once.

While I should have put none of the above. But, I do go for coffee brakes while flying basic Jets on Kerbin to do contracts with. 2 hour + flights in a straight line most of the time one neds to do somethign else. Like go for coffee. Play with the dogs. Make food. Read Book or forums or chat in a chat room. But, one poll option you forgot was. Bio-Break for longer play time. -

YEah. Weird that I have to run over Eve to get the Gilly Contract to show up? As The Duna/Ike one pops up by getting science and doing a pass and return with enough rep. Strange that doing Minmus does not bring up Gilly along with Eve as one could accidently or intentionally get an intercept for it. As well as the fact that by going to Mün you get 3 contracts. Two of which share the same SOI more or less. Well one is in the other. I can sort of see why Jool is before Dres. Since it has such a large SOI which makes it hard to miss. But, the return from orbit around X moon eating up more Delta V then A Orbit Dres and leave. Plus shorter time for a return from back to Kerbin too. Mün: Duna/Ike Gather did science and a pass; Minmus Think I landed and did transmite science from surface to get that to pop up or was that Orbit Mün to get. Sadly don't remember. Minmus: Think All I had to do was transmit science from around Minmus to get Eve Contract to spawn. Just weird that we dont get all the contarcts to pop up for a given planet. Since we could accidently get an intercept with one of the moons if they have any. Another is. Just wierd that if we do the Eve/Gilly contract we would get Jool and not Moho and The Duna/Ike one we don't get Dres. Since one could use Eve to sling shot/brake down to Moho. Eventually. But, At least I know. I have to do Hit Eve to get Gilly Explore contract. But, I might find out after my Duna Probe gets some scince from Duna. Going to be long long time before that happens. 400+ days and counting

Well. Found out that some parts like to explode with the first radial decoplers. Made it intresting to see a spread dropping back to Kerbin:

The problem is he ran out of EVA jet pack juice and yes he should have tried for a closer landing. Also a compass would be nice as well. Sometimes the contracts are a bit far apart and you don't want to waste fuel getting there due to the place being far away and some times a bit to far away to well. The craft did not live but the Kerbal did. Might as well go get them contracts complete. Now I just need to know whichway I'm goind to to craft no longer being there to get a reading from.

You should try "main sails" then. From 0 to 100% thrust gives them some nice lift. Can even get a Kerbal from Duna to Duna Orbit. Minmus to Solar and Mün to Munar orbit all with EVA fuel. With the exception of Minmus.

Yeah. Been adding hours to this game recently too. 2 weeks added 48 hours to my steam listing. Over 3 hours a day average. But, with me basicly pumping it out at leasst 4+ hours some days with brakes in between to play space engineer.

While doing Mün plant the flag exp training for one of my new pilots. I landed near (12.6 km) a certain egg that I have not visited before. Did a nice drive on Mün over 12 hours worth of driving. Did some driving on Duna and Eve. Tried Minmus even. Just not so good fur rovers. -

While I do agree with every thing you say. But, on pilots. Pilots done need electricity or solar panels to run in stock games. Plus Probes cannot plant flags for income either. A level 0 pilot is just as useful as a level 5 one. One thing they could do is make the use of SAS not as effective at low levels to simulate the Kerbal over correcting with it getting to be good as it is now at level 5. With probes only using what they have on board that part. Scientists are still useful in genterating more cash. But, on the whole. I do agree the contracts give way to much science. See Engineer. Engineers: Yeah They are only really useful for fixing wheels which are more then likely to brake more often then needing chutes to be repacked. But, with the mention of reasources being mentioned in the works along with new aerodynamics on a thread I can no longer find. We might get parts that need an Engineer or scientist to operate and maybe a certain level to operate at max efficiency. -
Well. Got Kirk Kerman. And did a Mün landing with him having no exp. SAS is not OP seriously: But, doing more land on Minus and then do a quick leave and enter back into Kerbin's SOI to get my Kerbals to 3 stars all the while doing contracts on Kerbin.

Well. Flew plans on KSP today. Can make a Jet that can easily travel half way aruond Kerbin and then some. Just need to work on the landings with current version which also has an effective abort system too. But, more importantly Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years. Here is something that may or may not have been suggested. Wild life. Thinks that are like the scattered terrain but can move, maybe. Maybe even hostile..... We know that X has a dead Kracken. -
So true. But, at least we are here to show them that it is possible to do with less.
