  1. Thanks! blahblah 10 character minimum is silly
  2. I thought something was weird, when I loaded this page back up the first time, it didn't show, but I just refreshed and it showed up...weird. Here is a better link, it's just a slightly larger version of my forum avatar:
  3. I would love a flag with this logo:
  4. Linux Mint 14 64bit. Although that mousewheel bug went away (weird) I do get the occasional map screen stutter/jump, so I'm going to try that fix posted here. Other than those 2, I have the same weird jumpy stuttering on the Space Center Scene.
  5. Is this with 0.21 or 0.21.1? I just got around to getting 0.21.1 tonight and it seems to be fine. Weird!
  6. It seems the Linux Mousewheel bug is back. Or it's probably more accurate to say they forgot to add the fix from last time to this version.
  7. Is this tweak still necessary with 0.21? $ xxd -s +0x7cebc7 -l 1 KSP.x86_64 07cebc7: 01 $ echo "7cebc7: 00" | xxd -r - KSP.x86_64 $ xxd -s +0x7cebc7 -l 1 KSP.x86_64 07cebc7: 00 $ xxd -s +0x7cebcc -l 1 KSP.x86_64 07cebcc: 01 $ echo "7cebcc: 00" | xxd -r - KSP.x86_64 $ xxd -s +0x7cebcc -l 1 KSP.x86_64 07cebcc: 00
  8. All I could think of when I read the opening post: http://cdn.meme.li/instances/300x300/39903454.jpg
  9. Where is the option for 'I don't have debris cause I found the setting to eliminate it'?
  10. I have an even cheaper version of that Lenovo, i3 processor, virtually everything else is the same though. I upgraded to 8gigs of ram, installed Linux and I run the 64bit client. KSP is just fine on it.
  11. $299 USD Lenovo G580, $60 upgrade to 8gigs of ram, Linux Mint 64 bit. I run KSP just fine.
  12. My laptop, Lenovo G580 shows that under Linux Mint 14, it's using the Mesa DRI Ivybridge OpenGL Renderer, but I read somewhere that this laptop uses an Nvidia chipset, listed as N13P-GL...can I use linux Nvidia drivers with this?
  13. I figured my issue out, luckily my ROOT part was close enough to the top of what I wanted to save and use again, that I was able to remove the docking port from it and THEN save the ship. So that way when I went to re-load it, my ROOT capsule had it's top end unused and it allowed me to connect it to what I wanted. Sucks it has to be that way. BTW, it still broke some struts, but didn't break my fuel lines
  14. I just installed it last night and ran one scan of the Mun. Didn't notice any real difference in lag. Right after that, I did a trip to Jool with a big ol 2-ship contraption (Which I use quite often and never have lag with) and I was lagged bad the entire mission, *mostly* in the mapmode. It was strange but I didn't attribute it to Kethane, I wasn't using Kethane parts on this ship. Don't know if that helps, maybe it was coincidence that the day I install 0.7.2, I get my first real lag running the Linux 64bit Client. I use Linux Mint.
  15. Rock On! Now...why can't I save one ship with a docking port, and load it to attach to another ship with a docking port? The loaded ship remains 'redded out' and does not show any way to connect.
  16. Sorry I looked, maybe I overlooked the obvious, but I can't find the option to turn off the menu grid overlay
  17. Obviously found my issue. Didn't think about this being a linux problem.
  18. I was able to save some components, put them in the directories that fit their categories, but when I try to load them back up, I can't actually get into those categories. Also, I hate that button placement, it's right on top of the staging list area
  19. Is there a reason why this would make changes to my settings.cfg file? Somehow this changed all the "Ocean" settings back to default.
