Okey dokey, I have started work on the rebuild. I'm working on the landers first before 1.0 arrives. I'm aiming for something close to this: My hab lander will have a central part that can be rotated outwards to give the same look as the inflatable hab in the video below. Oh gosh I hope not. I dislike the concept of steampunk, a lot. The craft in the movie where, for me very believable given the nature of the aliens. And the way they move and stay aloft using those rapidly firing thrusters was awesome. The movie is worth watching just for the aliens.

Amazingly I couldn't find a decent pic of the one I mean. They don't look exactly like your craft obviously but the style is very similar for me. If you've seen the movie its the craft that is destroyed above the petrol station. I thought the movie was underrated. Especially the technology ideas used.

I like your craft mate, they are so original and unique. They remind me of alien craft. Specifically the hovering craft from 'battle LA'. Good job man and keep up the excellent work!

Hi commander, I'm tempted to build a sub assembly cargo for your shuttle. What cargos are you lacking or have thought would be cool?

As the op stated, this scenario assumes 'warp' drive exists. I say we could just as easily say the technology can be miniaturised too and used on a lander as a form of 'anti gravity'. Seeing as a warp drives essentially does what gravity is, ie, a compression of space-time. With this drive the lander could simply, rise up from the planet.
